Emoticons are part of character creation. These are special animations that a character can perform. They can, for example, make communication between players easier.

Adding emoticons

When creating a character, you can choose 6 emoticons that your character will be able to use. Some of them are available for free, others you must buy or earn as an achievement award.

Using emoticons

To get access to the emoticon interface, press:

1. B or D-Pad (Xbox One);
2. left button or D-Pad (Nintendo Switch);
3. D-Pad Left (PlayStation 4).

Then just choose the animation you're interested in and your character will perform it.

Emoticons in 1.16

The following animations were added along with version 1.16 of the game.

1. "Over There!";
2. "Simple Clap";
3. "Wave";
4. "The Hammer";
5. "Diamonds To You!";
6. "The Pickaxe".
