Bee attitude

The bee is a neutral mob that can kill if provoked. You can provoke it not only by attacking but also destroying the hive.

Occurrence

Bees are found in hives, these most often appear in the following biomes:

1. Plains;
2. Sunflower Plains;
3. Flower Forest;
4. Forest;
5. Wooded mountains;
6. Birch forest;
7. Tall birch hills
8. Tall birch forest.

Bee behavior

Bees will attack you if you destroy their hive. However, you can collect them with the Silk Touch spell. This way you'll collect the hive together with the bees.

Bees, as in reality, pollinate flowers. They fly across clearings where they spread pollen and return with it to the hive.

You won't meet them at night or in the rain.

Remember that throwing a bee into the water will result in it's slow death.

Picking honey

Bees will attack you if you carelessly take their honey. To calm them down you need:

1. A Bonfire placed under a hive;
2. A Dispenser filled with empty bottles.

Reproduction of bees

Bees can be reproduced by any flower - excluding the Wither Rose.

Bees and the Bane of Arthropods

Bane of Arthropods is a spell that increases the damage inflicted on spiders, cave spiders, silverfish, and bees.

Honey - use

Honey can be collected from the hive. With it, you can craft:

1. Sugar - 1 bottle of honey = 3 sugars;
2. Honey block - crafted from 4 bottles of honey;
3. Honey bottle - crafted from 4 empty bottles and one block of honey. That's how you can feed your character.
