If you find a saddle you can try riding a pig. At the same time, if you manage to call of a tall cliff, you will obtain the "When Pigs Fly" achievement. Apart from the saddle, to control the animal, you also need a fishing rod and a carrot, which you can combine and craft a carrot on a stick. After you take your place in the saddle by holding the carrot on a stick, in your hand, you will be able to direct the pig, and it will go there.

As a matter of fact, riding the pig is not better, in any way, than riding the horse. Simply put, they are easier to find and there is no need to tame them. Initially, the speed is low, but it rises quickly, to t blocks per second. While riding, you do not need to jump - the animal walks up the blocks +1 higher than the ground level, automatically. It can also climb up ladders and stairs. Still, it cannot walk through doors and, if it falls into water, does not respond to direction commands. By pressing the action button, while riding, you activate temporary "turbo" achievement - which also takes a lot of the carrot durability.

By falling from any height, while riding the pig, you take no damage to health. If the pig dies, you receive the saddle back. How long you will ride, depends on the how long the carrot on stick will last, because it is, in a manner of speaking, eaten up by the animal. It is worth remembering that, after you finish your ride, you need to tie up the lead, with the pig attached to it, to an object, to prevent it from escaping and taking the valuable saddle with it.
