Crafting table: how to craft, build? Recipe
Last update: 10 July 2020
This page of our Minecraft guide has basic information about a Crafting Table. You will find out how to make it and what it is for.
To craft, i.e. to create new items, you can use the four slots, assigned to that purpose, in the character inventory (inventory window). Still, to do craft more complicated items, you need to use four boards to build a Crafting Table. The table has 9 slots, thanks to which, by arranging items in a specific way, you can craft items that cannot be found in the natural world. To use the table, you need to select it with the action buttons and arrange the ingredients, in the window that opens, in the specific way, and collect the items that have been created as a result of processing, at the other side of the arrow, on the right. The items that you leave inside the object, after you close the interface, will be removed from it and dropped next to the table.
Apart from its main functionality, to create items, the table can also be used as a fuel for the furnace as well as a decorative element of the floor, or of the ceiling. It is worth noting that, after it has been worked into a wall or the floor, it can still be used. That is why it is a good idea to blend it into the house's structure, if you are short of room. It is also a good idea to carry one (or two) around, when going to the mine, because after you have collected a bigger amount of e.g. redstone, it can be melted into blocks and carry more of it out of the mine.
You get "Benchmarking" achievement for making it.
