The Crimson Corsair | Minikits and red bricks LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Guide

On this page you will find information about location and way of obtaining of ten minikits and a red LEGO brick hidden in the additional mission titled "The Crimson Corsair". You should find these secrets in the free roaming mode of the game. Additionally, you should read the information below in which you will find hints about how to prepare for the search.

Important information
You should find the secrets hidden in this mission in the free roaming mode, once you unlock great variety of playable characters. Only part of the collectibles described below can be obtained by completing this level for the first time (in the story mode).
All secrets in this level can be unlocked by using characters unlocked by completing the main story of the game. You must only be more focused in case of minikit 4 which requires you to eliminate small creatures in three completely different areas of the mission. You must remember so that you won't miss them. In this guide the secrets are described in order in which you find them. Thanks to that you won't miss any secret.
In addition to obtaining secrets, you can also try obtaining the title of True Jedi. It is awarded if you gather at least 50000 studs in this mission.
Minikit 1/10
Special requirements: none
Location and how to unlock: Minikit can be obtained in story mode or in free roaming mode. Remain in the place where you started the chapter. You should notice the interactive attachment at the ship. You must catch it with any character equipped with a grappling hook. This will allow you to open the hatch from which the minikit will drop.
Minikit 2/10
Special requirements: none
Location and how to unlock: Minikit can be obtained in story mode or in the free roaming mode. Examine the area on the left from where you start the mission. There you will find the golden object marked on the picture. Use Quiggold who is available in this mission by default or any other character equipped with heavy blaster (for example one of the stormtroopers).
Minikit 3/10
Special requirements: a character that can use the Force (for example Luke or Darth Vader)
Location and how to unlock: Minikit can be obtained at the beginning of the level. Walk slightly to the right and use the Light Side or the Dark Side of the Force on one of the engines of the space shuttle. Pieces of minikit will drop from the engine. Combine them into one.
Minikit 4/10 - creatures 1 and 2
Special requirements: none
Location and how to unlock: Minikit can be obtained in story mode or in the free roaming mode. This secret forces you to attack three small creatures found in various locations visited during this mission. The first creature can be found on the right from where the mission starts. It is located in the place shown on the picture, under one of the engines of the flying machine (it's the same engine as the one related to obtaining minikit number 3).
The second creature can be found on the right from the stairs with charges (above picture). It is the location in which the characters must use the construction bricks to deactivate the force field and neutralize the electric charges.
Minikit 5/10
Special requirements: none
Location and how to unlock: Minikit can be obtained in story mode or in the free roaming mode. You must reach the area with the force field and the charges. The characters must use the construction bricks there. Use them to build the left object and take the collectible.
Minikit 6/10
Special requirements: a character that can use the terminals of the First Order (for example stormtrooper)
Location and how to unlock: Minikit can be obtained after deactivating the force field and neutralizing the charges that block access to the stairs. Take interest in the terminal on the left side after using the stairs and dealing with a few enemies. A member of the First Order can use the terminal, for example Captain Phasma or any stormtrooper. Solve the minigame during which you must match the look of the stormtrooper. A minikit will be thrown out on the left of the machine.
Minikit 7/10
Special requirements: a character that can use the Dark Side of the Force (for example Darth Vader)
Location and how to unlock: Minikit is located behind the large fan marked on the above picture. You pass by that fan when you're marching to the right. Eliminate a few stormtroopers, walk towards the fan and use the Dark Side of the Force to pull out the minikit.
Minikit 8/10
Special requirements: none
Location and how to unlock: Minikit can be obtained in story mode or in the free roaming mode. You will have an opportunity to obtain it soon after you use the grappling hook on the flying drone and after you use it to reach the upper balconies. Once it is done, go to the left and reach the interactive hook shown on the picture. Hang on it and then pull it out in order to be able to collect the secret.
Red LEGO brick
Reward for obtaining the brick: Imperial Inaccuracy
Special requirements: none
Location and how to unlock: The red LEGO brick can be obtained in free roaming mode and in story mode. Soon after hanging on the flying drone you must reach the bottom right area with a few enemies and construction bricks. Use the bricks to create the object on the right side. This will allow you to enter the area shown on the picture. There you will find the red brick (you must get through the enemies to it).
Minikit 4/10 - creature 3
The last, third creature can be found just after you passed through the small hatch when playing for example as BB-8. Once you do it, go towards the bottom of the screen. The location of the creature you look for is shown on the above picture.
Minikit 9/10
Special requirements: none
Location and how to unlock: Minikit can be obtained in story mode or in the free roaming mode. Once you reach the last large area of the mission, ignore the new enemies and go to the bottom right corner of the location. In the place shown on the picture you must jump to the lower balcony.
Go to the right. Don't hurry as on the way you can easily fall down. Minikit is at the end of the long construction.
Minikit 10/10
Special requirements: a character that uses Force (for example Luke or Darth Vader)
Location and how to unlock: Minikit can be obtained after ending the battles in the final area of the mission, when your character is able to reach upper left ledge. On the left from the ledge a platform that is shown on the above picture is flying. Use the Light or the Dark Side of the Force on it in order to bring it down to the ground.
