Rathtar Hunting | Minikits and red bricks LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Guide

Last update: 20 July 2016

On this page you will find information about the location and way to obtain the ten minikits and the red LEGO brick hidden in the additional mission titled "Rathtar Hunting". You can find these secrets in the free roaming mode. Additionally, you should read the advices available below in which you will find information about how to prepare yourself for the search.

Important information

You should find secrets available in this mission in the free roaming game mode, after you unlock a wide variety of playable characters. Only some of the collectibles described below can be obtained while completing this level for the first time (in the story mode).

What's also important is that not all secrets in this mission can be collected by using the characters unlocked by completing the main story plot. Minikit number 6 requires a character that is able to swim. It can be Admiral Ackbar unlocked by completing the side mission "Poe to the Rescue". The second troublesome minikit is the one number 8. It will require you to have a character that can destroy golden objects. You can use for that the Stormtrooper Heavy who can be bought.

You must journey for minikits 7 and 8 BEFORE you run to the closest cover and start the blaster battle. You won't be able to return for them after winning the battle.

In addition to obtaining secrets you can try receiving the True Jedi title. It is given to you if you manage to collect at least 65000 studs during the mission.

Minikit 1/10

Special requirements: none

Location and how to unlock: Minikit can be obtained in the story mode or in the free roaming mode. Reach the upper left ledge just after the mission starts. Select Varond Jelik or any other character with a stick and place the stick in the slot marked on the picture. Keep jumping until you reach a new high ledge. There you will find an interactive handle which you must hang on as any character with a grappling hook. Pulling the handle will trigger pieces of Minikit to appear. All you have to do is to combine them into one.

Location and how to unlock: You will have chance for obtaining this Minikit while traveling through the partially flooded caves in the beginning of the level. While traveling through the caves, play as a character that controls the Light Side of the Force, for example as Luke Skywalker. You must use the Force on the five yellow-orange flowers. Some of them are shown on the above picture. It is hard to miss the flowers, so you shouldn't have trouble with obtaining the Minikit.
