Chapter 10 - The Finale | Minikits and red bricks LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Guide

This page presents information on where to find and how to obtain ten minikits red LEGO brick in mission "Finale", i.e. the tenth chapter of the main story. Try to find these collectibles in the free game mode. Additionally, read information provided below, where you find information such as how to prepare yourself properly for the hunt.

Important information

It is best to try to find collectibles in this chapter in the free game mode, only after you have unlocked a greater number of playable characters. You can obtain only some of the below collectibles while playing this mission for the first time (in the story mode).

A very important piece of information is that some of the collectibles cannot be obtained only with characters that you have obtained in the story mode. You are going to need three characters of unique abilities. The first one is a character equipped with flame thrower and you can buy the Flametrooper for that. The second one is a character that can swim. You can buy for example Admiral Ackbar that you unlock after you complete side mission "Poe to the rescue". The last unique ability you are going to need is ramming through cracked walls and you can buy, e.g. Grummgar.

Many of the below collectibles are easy to miss, as a result of completing the flight without performing specific actions, or by progressing to the final part of the fight with Kylo Ren too early. Therefore, try to focus on obtaining the available collectibles, while playing in the free game mode. Only after that, focus on performing actions that will get you closer to the end of the chapter.

Apart from obtaining the collectibles, you can try to obtain the title of the True Jedi (True Jedi). It is awarded in this mission "Finale" after you collect, at least 70000 studs.

Minikit 1/10

Special requirements: none

Location and how to unlock: You can obtain this minikit either in the story mode or in the free game mode. After you start the battle over the enemy base, IGNORE enemy TIEs and find the checkered circle. Fly through the circle to start the time trial. You have to reach successive circles as quickly as possible. During the trial, ignore enemy fighters and use afterburner as often as possible.

Minikit 2/10

Special requirements: none

Location and how to unlock: You can obtain this minikit either in the story mode or in the free game mode. You can obtain it at the very beginning of the linear flight across the base. During the flight, you have to destroy the green turrets similar to the ones shown in the above screenshot. In total, you will have to destroy five turrets. There will be more of them, but you are in a hurry and destroy at least five, before you take another tunnel.

Minikit 3/10

Special requirements: none

Location and how to unlock: You can obtain this minikit later into the flight, after you leave the tunnel with green turrets. During this part of the flight, you will have to keep an eye out for circle of studs shown in the above screenshot. Fly through the circle to get the minikit. You have to be highly precise here, so do not try to engage enemy units here.

Minikit 4/10

Special requirements: none

Location and how to unlock: You can obtain this minikit either in the story mode or in the free game mode. You have to fly up to the spot, where you have to pounce on red pipes, thanks to which you fill up the damage meter. IGNORE the pipes at first and try to shoot at the red symbols of the First Order. One of such symbols has been shown in the above screenshot. You have to shoot three such symbols.

Minikit 5/10 - snowman 1

Special requirements: none

Location and how to unlock: You can obtain this minikit either in the story mode or in the free game mode. For this, you have to build three snowmen, which you can do in various phases of the fight with Kylo Ren. You can make the first snowman right after you start the boss fight. Switch to a character that is not fighting Kylo Ren. Destroy nearby objects and use interactive bricks to make a snowman on the left (the above screenshot).

Minikit 6/10

Special requirements: a character equipped with flame thrower (e.g. Flametrooper), a character that can swim (e.g. Admiral Ackbar)

Location and how to unlock: You can obtain this collectible at the very beginning of the fight with Kylo Ren. Switch to a character that is not fighting him and focus on the iceberg shown in the above screenshot. You have to melt it. Select a character equipped with flame thrower (e.g. Flametrooper). Melting the ice reveals a small water reservoir. Jump into the water as a character that can swim, e.g. Admiral Ackbar.

Minikit 5/10 - snowman 2

You can make another snowman when you progress to one of the next phases of the fight with Kylo Ren and a new part of the forest will be unlocked. Again, select a character that is not fighting the boss. The spot where you make the snowman has been shown in the above screenshot.

Minikit 7/10

Special requirements: none

Location and how to unlock: You can obtain this minikit either in the story mode or in the free game mode. You can obtain this collectible after you progress to the phase of the battle with Kylo Ren that takes place in the gorge. Select a character that is not fighting with the boss and approach the left tree shown in the above screenshot. Use any character equipped with grappling hook and interact with the grappling point.

Minikit 8/10

Special requirements: none

Location and how to unlock: You can obtain this minikit either in the story mode or in the free game mode. You can obtain it right after you have obtained the previous one, i.e. when the other of the characters is fighting the boss in the gorge. Take a look into the tree in the middle, where there is the terminal shown in the above screenshot. Interact with it.

This starts a minigame where you have to shoot down 6 sentry droids. Lean out from behind the cover for the whole time and wait for the droids. They will appear in the spots shown in the above screenshot, i.e. on the left and on the right. You receive the minikit after you shoot them all down with your ranged weapon.

Minikit 9/10

Special requirements: a character equipped with gas mask (e.g. Finn)

Location and how to unlock: You can obtain this minikit after Kylo Ren loses the majority of his health and you will have to travel to the final phase of the boss battle. Select the character that is taking the lower path and jump over from rock to another. Keep heading right, thanks to which you will reach the ledge shown in the above screenshot. To get to the minikit, you will have to deal with gas clouds, but you simply have to select Finn here to get things done, or any other character with gas mask.

Minikit 10/10

Special requirements: a character that can ram through cracked walls (e.g. Grummgar)

Location and how to unlock: You can obtain this minikit along your path to the final phase of the boss battle. You have to reach the area with vertical climbing wall. Do not climb just yet and turn your attention to the cracked wall shown in the above screenshot. Ram through the wall as, e.g. Grummgar.

Minikit 5/10 - snowman 3

You find the third snowman right before the third phase of the boss battle. After you climb up the climbing wall, do not approach the boss that you can see in the distance. Instead, interact with the bricks shown in the above screenshot on the right.

Red LEGO brick

Reward for obtaining the brick: Collect Guide Studs

Special requirements: a character that uses the Force (e.g. Luke or Darth Vader)

Location and how to unlock: You can obtain this red LEGO brick right after the last phase of the battle with Kylo Ren starts. Start in the spot where you have made the third snowman. Here, you find a snowball shown in the above screenshot. Interact with the snowball as a character that uses either the light or the dark side of the Force.

The snowball rolls to the left and, at the same time, grow larger. Go there and do not worry, if you inadvertently start the fight with Kylo Ren, because you do not have to go there. Start pushing off the snowball to obtain the red brick in mid-air.
