The above screenshot presents the map of the galaxy in LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Individual locations on the map are unlocked with your progress into the game and in each one of them, there are either some missions or other activities. See below for the list of these locations. On the pages of this walkthrough, you can find maps of locations that you can explore between individual missions.

• Arthon - You can complete a side mission here (Ottegan Storm).
• D'Qar - You can explore the resistance's HQ. This is where chapter 7 and the Epilogue start. Apart from that, You can explore the resistance base. Chapter 7 and Epilogue. Apart from that, you can complete a side mission here (Poe To The Rescue).
• Endor - this is where the Prologue starts.
• Jakku - You can explore the surface of the planet. This is where chapters 1, 2 and 3 start. Apart from that, you can complete a side mission here (Lor San Tekka's Return).
• Kerroc - You can complete a side mission here (The Crimson Corsair).
• Millennium Falcon - You can explore the interior of the ship. Chapter 4 starts here. Apart from that, you can complete a side mission here (Dejarik Battle).
• Starkiller Base- You can explore the planet surface. This is where chapters 8, 9 and 10 start. Apart from that, you can complete a side mission here (Starkiller Destruction).
• Takodana - You can explore the planet surface. This is where chapters 5 and 6 start.
• Taul - You can complete a side mission here (Trouble Over Taul).
• Twon Ketee - You can complete a side mission here (Rathtar Hunting).
