Chapter 4 - The Eravana | Minikits and red bricks LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Guide

This chapter contains information about the locations and acquisition method of ten minikits and a red LEGO brick in The Eravana mission, the third chapter of the main storyline. You should look for those secrets in the free roam mode of the game. Additionally, you should read the information listed below, containing, for instance, hints about proper preparations for the search.

Important information

You should look for the secrets hidden in this mission while playing in the free roam mode, after unlocking a wide array of different playable characters. Only a few of the following collectibles can be acquired during the completion of the chapter (during the story mode).

The sixth minikit requires a character capable of swimming. In this case the easiest way to unlock such a character is to complete the Poe to the Rescue side quest, giving you access to Admiral Ackbar.

You should also be extra careful when hunting for the fifth minikit. It's located on the escape route from the Rathtar and you must jump and collect it. If you miss it, you will be forced to replay the escape section.

Aside from secrets you can also try to acquire the True Jedi title. This title is given to the player for collecting at least 65,000 studs during The Eravana mission.

Minikit 1/10

Special requirements: a character capable of hacking terminals (like C-3PO), a character capable of using Force (like Luke or Darth Vader).

Location and unlocking method: continue the game until you reach the area filled with toxic gasses. Go through the poisoned area and focus on the terminal on the left side - it can be seen on the above screenshot. The terminal must be interacted with by C-3PO, or any other character capable of hacking terminals. There you must solve an easy mini-game (green, red, yellow sign) and you will unlock door on the left side, leading to a separate area of the freighter.

The place where you must use the Force.

The minikit you're looking for can be found in a visible place, on top of the upper shelf. You must use either the light or the dark side of the Force on the nearby object to get there.

Minikit 2/10

Construct and use the terminal.

Special requirements: a character capable of hacking terminals (like C-3PO).

Location and unlocking method: the minikit can be found in the same area where you've found the first secret. Look for the interactive bricks on the left side and construct a terminal with them. Finn can interact with it. Solve an easy mini-game about matching the look of the stormtrooper.

Be prepared, as a rathtar beast will appear out of a sudden. Press the buttons appearing on the screen to prevent the beast from devouring the character. Afterwards, you will be given the minikit.

Minikit 3/10

Special requirements: a character capable of hacking terminals (like C-3PO), a character capable of using sockets (like BB-8).

Location and unlocking method: the minikit is located exactly in the same room where the first two items were hidden. Remain at the place where you've found the second minikit and interact with the blocks. Construct a socket with them (as shown on the above screenshot). You must now attach BB-8 or any other capable character to it. Now charge it. Afterwards, fragments of the minikit will appear on the right side - construct the collectible.

Red LEGO brick

A handle where you must use the grappling hook.

Reward for collecting the brick: stud multiplier x2

Special requirements: none

Location and unlocking method: the red LEGO brick can be acquired soon after completing the blaster battle with Han Solo and Chewbacca (the one that ends in using Thermal Detonators on rathtar's tentacles). Continue the journey along the corridors of the ship and turn to the right once you reach crossing. In the new area select a character equipped with a grappling hook and attach it to the handle. Pulling it out will reveal the place where the LEGO brick is hidden.

Minikit 4/10

Use the Force on the key located near the socket.

Special requirements: a character capable of using Force (like Luke or Darth Vader).

Location and unlocking method: after you've collected the red brick described above, use BB-8 or any other character to go through a hatch located in the upper right corner of the room. Afterwards, switch to a character capable of using either dark or light side of the Force and interact with the right key.

Minikit 5/10

Special requirements: none

Location and unlocking method: the minikit can be acquired in the story mode, as well as in the free roam mode. You must be extra careful, as you can easily miss it and you will have a single chance to acquire it. After the chase with the rathtar starts, run towards the bottom of the screen and then turn to the right. You should soon reach the place with the secret - marked on the above screenshot. You must perform a jump at the right place and time to catch it in mid-air. If you fail, leave the mission and replay the second part of it.

Minikit 6/10

Use the dark side of the Force and then switch to character capable of swimming.

Special requirements: a character capable of using the dark side of the Force (like Darth Vader), a character capable of swimming (like Admiral Ackbar).

Location and unlocking method: you will be able to acquire this minikit after the rathtar chase, in the room where the beast will catch Finn and won't let him go. Before you go to rescue Finn, however, select a character capable of using the dark side of the Force (like Darth Vader). Destroy the objects near the left corner of the room and use the Force on one of them. After a small water reservoir is exposed, select a character capable of swimming (like Admiral Ackbar) and jump into it to collect the secret.

Minikit 7/10

Special requirements: a character capable of using the dark side of the Force (like Darth Vader).

Location and unlocking method: the minikit is located to the left of the hangar, where the duel with the rathtar takes place. Search for the objects located to the left of the monster - those are shown on the above screenshot. Use any character capable of using the dark side of the Force to move them. Afterwards, collect the secret.

Minikit 8/10

Special requirements: none

Location and unlocking method: the minikit can be found both in the story mode, as well as in the free roam mode. It's associated with three mynocks found in the hangar where you duel with rathtar. You must find and shoot down (with any ranged weapon) three of those creatures. Two mynocks can be found to the right and to the left of the boss (above screenshot).

The third and the last mynock can be found next to the climbing wall located in the left side of the hangar (as shown on the above screenshot).

Minikit 9/10

Special requirements: a character equipped with a lightsaber (like Darth Vader or Finn from further chapters).

Location and unlocking method: you must reach the upper shelf (by using the climbing wall) on the left side of the hangar, where you duel with the rathtar. The above screenshot shows the place (a fan) where you must use the lightsaber to unlock a passage to the secret.

Minikit 10/10

Special requirements: none

Location and unlocking method: the minikit can be found in the story mode, as well as in the free roam mode. It's located on the right side of the hangar, the place where duel with the rathtar. You can acquire it after solving an easy puzzle associated with constructing objects with different colors. Use the hatch shown on the above screenshot with BB-8 or any small character. You will reach the upper floor where you can acquire the minikit.
