Key information about the trophies
- Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart has 47 trophies - 1 platinum, 3 gold, 7 silver and 36 bronze trophies.
- You can earn trophies by playing on any difficulty level. The game does not force you to set a specific difficulty level. What's more, you can freely change the difficulty level you've chosen from the options even while playing the game (e.g. if you find a particular boss too challenging).
- You don't have to complete the game 100% to earn platinum, i.e. you do not have to get 100% of the secrets and collectibles, nor complete all of the optional activities (e.g. winning 100% of arena fights or getting all armor sets). This can make unlocking the platinum trophy significantly easier.
- As you progress through the game, pay close attention to the requirements of the Shifty Character (hitting various blizons) and Extinction Event ( killing Grunthors ) trophies, as you may miss some related activities. In the case of all other trophies, there is no risk that you will miss something and be able to return for, e.g. a missing collectible.
- Almost all trophies can be earned during the first playthrough, be it during the main story or the endgame. The exception is the Fully Stacked trophy, which requires starting a new game in Challenge Mode. Fortunately, you should complete these requirements very quickly during the second playthrough - you won't have to complete the entire game a second time.
- It should take you up to 20 hours to get the platinum trophy. You should be able to earn most of the trophies while simply playing the game. Only a small number of them require additional efforts like completing optional and not very obvious activities.
Masters of the Multiverse
Trophy type: platinum
How to unlock: Collect all trophies.
Rift Apart
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Get Separated in Nefarious City.
Comment: You get this trophy by making progress in the main storyline. You can't miss it. You will earn the trophy right after regaining control over the character in Nefarious City, the second location of the game.
Hide 'N Seekerpede

How to unlock: Defeat the Seekerpede.
Comment: You get this trophy by making progress in the main storyline. You can't miss it. You will earn the trophy after dealing with a large boss during your first visit to the planet Sargasso.
Victory!
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Complete a Battleplex Challenge.
Comment: You get this trophy by making progress in the main storyline. You can't miss it. The trophy is tied to the arena in the Scarstu Debris Field location. You have to defeat the boss Francois.
Can't Stop Me
Trophy type: silver
How to unlock: Complete a Gold Cup Battleplex Challenge.
Comment: The earliest you can get this trophy is after completing the Viceron location during the main story. When you return to the Gastropub, you will learn that you can join the final confrontation of the game. The Gold Cup challenge in the arena will also be unlocked.
To get the trophy, you only need to complete one Gold Cup battle. In our opinion, the easiest challenge is LOL, That's Random, which is about using weapons randomly selected by the game. You fight only regular enemies - you shouldn't have problems with eliminating them. You also do not have to worry about ammunition supplies.
We have described all the Gold Cup battles on the Arena - Gold Cup page in our walkthrough.
Hey Lombax DJ
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Play Three Songs on Zurkie's Jukebox.
Comment: This is a very simple trophy. The jukebox is located in the Gastropub, the same location in Scarstu Debris Field that also has an arena terminal.
Interact with the jukebox to display a list of songs. You can choose any songs from the list. You also don't have to listen to them until the end. Switch between them to quickly unlock the trophy.
This Crystal is My Things

How to unlock: Acquire Phase Quartz.

Emotional Support Robot
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Meet the Fixer.
Comment: You get this trophy by making progress in the main storyline. You can't miss it. You will earn the trophy after completing the part involving a giant machine called the Fixer on the planet Torren IV.
Rated Aaarrr!
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Feed Bubbles.

Return to Sender
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Sink the Mothership on Sargasso.
Comment: You get this trophy by making progress in the main storyline. You can't miss it. You will earn the trophy after a large battle and destroying an enemy aircraft during your second visit to the planet Sargasso.
No Bones About It
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Retrieve the Dimensional Map.
Comment: You get this trophy by making progress in the main storyline. You can't miss it. You will get the trophy after winning a boss battle in the catacombs of the Savali planet. The catacombs are visited during the second visit to Savali.
I'm the Warden Now
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Break In and Out of Prison.
Comment: You get this trophy by making progress in the main storyline. You can't miss it. Free the heroes from the prison on the planet Viceron - you visit it in the final part of the campaign.
2 Fuzz 2 Nefarious
Trophy type: gold
How to unlock: Defeat Doctor and Emperor Nefarious.
Comment: You get this trophy by making progress in the main storyline. You can't miss it. You must win the final battle consisting of three phases. We described this confrontation in the Bosses chapter on the Final Boss page.
More Than Lint
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Enter a Hidden Pocket Dimension.
Comment: Dimensional Pockets are secret locations. You will start finding them starting from Nefarious City. An example is shown in the image above (it's north of the clubhouse in Nefarious City) - you must press L1 to open it.
You will earn the trophy the moment you enter your first Pocket. However, you should try to look for more Pockets - each of them has a new unique piece of armor.
Sartorial Steel
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Acquire a Piece of Armor.
Comment: This is a very easy trophy that is linked to the More Than Lint trophy described above. By examining any Pocket Dimension (e.g. the one on Nefarious City), you can get a new piece of armor.
Does This Make My Tail Look Big?
Trophy type: silver
How to unlock: Acquire and Equip Head, Torso, and Leg Armor.
Comment: This trophy is not very complicated. As you progress through the game, you can find new pieces of armor - they also serve as collectibles. Most of them are in Pocket Dimensions, although they can also be received, for example, as rewards for winning battles. You must get any helmet, chest, and boots, then go to the armor tab in the equipment menu and put on all 3 items.
The locations of the main collectibles - armor parts, Gold Bolt, and Spybots - are listed in detail in the Secrets and collectibles chapter.
Shiny!
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Collect a Gold Bolt.
Comment: Gold Bolts are one of the collectibles. You can find these secrets starting from the Nefarious City stage. Find any Bolt.
Nooks and Crannies
Trophy type: silver
How to unlock: Collect Five Gold Bolts.
Comment: This is a more difficult version of the Shiny! trophy described above. Fortunately, this trophy doesn't require you to get 100% of the Gold Bolts. There are 25 of them in the entire game, but you only need to find 5.
Quantum Mechanics
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Repair a Dimensional Anomaly.
Comment: You get this trophy by making progress in the main storyline. You can't miss it. A Dimensional Anomaly will appear on the planet Savali. You need to solve 3 puzzles as Clank.
We described the Anomaly on the Investigate the Dimensional Anomaly and reach Rivet's Hideout page.
They Blow Up So Fast
Trophy type: silver
How to unlock: Get a Weapon to Level Five.
Comment: This trophy is not very complicated, although it will take you some time to unlock it. To develop weapons, you simply have to use them regularly to gain XP and level them up to the next level. Each weapon's maximum level is five.
To obtain the trophy, you can max out any weapon. The game informs you of a new level with a message displayed at the top of the screen.
There's Even a Cupholder
Trophy type: silver
How to unlock: Fully Upgrade a Weapon.
Comment: This trophy is an extended version of the They Blow Up So Fast trophy described above. Not only do you need to advance (any) weapon to level 5, but you also need to purchase all upgrades for it.
You can buy them by visiting Mrs. Zurkon, who has at least one store on each planet. Go to the second tab of the trade window. Your task is to purchase all "regular" cells. Gold cells will unlock automatically as you invest in the development tree. In the example in the image above, we've developed Burst Pistol to maximum (the first firearm in the game), but you can, of course, choose any weapon.
You don't use Bolts to buy upgrades from Mrs. Zurkon - you need Raritanium. They are blue crystals that you can find mainly as loot in locations. They can also be a reward for completing quests or defeating strong enemies.
Try to explore 100% of all the places you visit. You should also take a look at the map every now and then - Raritanium icons may appear on it. To fully upgrade the weapon from our example, you will need to get over 30 pieces of Raritanium.
Full Rack
Trophy type: silver
How to unlock: Fill a Weapon Wheel.
Comment: This trophy is about buying weapons from Mrs. Zurkon. The game's currency is Bolts, which you can find mainly by smashing crates.
To unlock the trophy, you will need to unlock 8 weapons - this will be enough to fill a single selection wheel (activated by holding down the Triangle). There are many more weapons in the game, so you can buy the cheapest ones.
Fully Stacked
Trophy type: gold
How to unlock: Purchase All Weapons.
Comment: This is a more difficult version of the Full Rack trophy described above. This trophy consists of three main parts. First of all, you need to buy all the weapons from Mrs. Zurkon during your first playthrough. The last weapon will be the Blackhole Storm.
Unfortunately, the last few weapons are very expensive. You have to destroy as many chests as possible - this is how you will find a lot of Bolts. You can also acquire large amounts of Bolts by fighting on the arena. You can replay each arena challenge multiple times and you will always receive Bolts as a reward (unfortunately, the rewards for replaying the fights are smaller).
The second part of this trophy involves unlocking the RYNO 8 ultimate weapon. This is linked to the separate trophy Aim to Misbehave - to unlock RYNO, you must find all 10 Spybots.
The last part is the least obvious - you must start a new game in the Challenge Mode, which becomes available when you complete the game for the first time. You have to complete at least the beginning part of the prologue and meet Mrs. Zurkon. Two new weapons, the Bouncer and the Pixelizer, are sold by the trader in the NG mode. They cost 1 bolt each - if you have already purchased all the previous weapons, you will now earn the trophy.
We described the Challenge Mode in more detail in our game guide.
Glitch, Uh, Finds a Way
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Complete All Glitch Challenges.
Comment: Glitch is a miniature mech. It has special sequences during which you get rid of viruses. You will play as Glitch for the first time in Nefarious City. You will have to hack the console next to the statue of Nefarious. You will play more as Glitch later in the game. Each sequence begins by interacting with an infected purple console (an example is shown in the image).
Glitch can move freely (including walking on walls and ceilings). Your job is to destroy virus nests using the mech's weapons. The game can make this process more difficult by, for example, surrounding enemy nests with protective fields - you will have to turn them off first.
The last two sequences involving Glitch are optional:
- On the planet Ardolis, you must use the console in the room where you participated in one of the Pirate Trials.
- When you go back on Savali, you must access the catacombs and interact with the console in the underground.
In Glitch's final sequence, you will face an additional boss - Master Virus. You have to eliminate smaller virus nests and then attack the exposed boss. This duel is described in more detail in the Bosses chapter. Winning it will unlock the trophy.
You can also find information about the optional infected consoles on Ardolis and Savala in the Secrets and collectibles chapter. Both of these consoles are linked to collectibles - Gold Bolts.
Shifty Character
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Hit Every Blizon Crystal on Blizar and Cordelion.
Comment: An example of a Blizon Crystal is shown in the picture - you can find them on Blizar Prime and Cordelion. Hitting a Blizon transports the character to another dimension. On the two planets mentioned, you will be switching between two different dimensions in this way.
To get the trophy, you must hit a total of 29 different Blizon out of the 30 available in the game.
The Blizon on Blizar Prime is the easiest to miss - you will find it during the long rail ride shown in the picture, which happens on the way to the drill. To complete this sequence, you only need to hit 1 of the 2 Blizons. If you want to hit both, you'll have to jump to the side rail a second time before you reach the Blizon that leads to the next stage.
Another problematic Blizon is on the planet Cordelion - it is on an optional circular platform with a Gold Bolt. You can only get there in the winter dimension - the force field surrounding the Blizon will be turned off. You have to use Hoverboots, bounce off the center platform with momentum and glide towards the side platform.
BOING!
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Bounce on Big Al, Clank, and Qwark's Parade Balloons.
Comment: This is a simple trophy that you can unlock by visiting a Pocket Dimension (an optional small location) in Nefarious City - we've marked it on the image. It's located north of the Nefarious Club and east of the marketplace.
In the new dimension, you will see balloons resembling various characters. Bounce off each balloon at least once.
Max Relax
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Find the Nefarious Citizens by the Hot Springs.
Comment: This is a simple trophy - you have to find characters resting on deck chairs next to hot springs. This location is shown in the images above - it is on the planet Savali. The location associated with the trophy is right next to the village in the central wilderness. The same one where you will find the monk associated with one of the side quests and Mrs. Zurkon.
Lombax and Chill
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Turn on the TV in Rivet's Hideout.
Comment: As a reminder, the Rivet's Hideout is located on the planet Sargasso - visiting it is part of the main storyline.
When you reach the hideout for the first time, Seekerpede will attack it - you will have to leave it right away. Return to this location later after dealing with Seekerpede. Find the TV - it is shown in the picture above.
Alert the Sponsors
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Perform Five Trick Jumps on a Grind Rail.
Comment: Moving on the rails is part of the main storyline. However, you can also do that during optional exploration. You can find rails on, e.g. the planet Sargasso.
When traveling on rails, press the jump button and then press it again to perform a special jump (trick). There is a good chance that you will get this trophy without making any special effort to unlock it.
Icebreaker
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Melee Five Frozen Enemies.
Comment: You need the Cold Snap weapon to get this trophy. You can:
- Purchase Cold Snap for 20000 Bolts - The earliest you can get it is after reaching the planet Cordelion and visiting Mrs. Zurkon's store.
- Enter the Box Breaker event at the Gastropub arena - This is one of the Silver Cup rounds.
Hit opponents with ice shells to turn them into ice cubes. The effect is temporary, so you must always be quick to smash the cube and eliminate that opponent before the ice disappears.
No Need for Multiball
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Kill Two Enemies With a Single Ricochet Round.
Comment: You need a weapon called Ricochet to get the trophy. You can purchase it on your first visit to the planet Sargasso - it costs 6500 Bolts.
Look for groups of weak opponents. To unlock the trophy, you must use Ricochet. A single bullet can hit multiple times - keep pressing R2 again at regular intervals. Each successive hit is stronger - there is a good chance that it will eliminate two opponents standing close together.
We managed to get the trophy easily on one of the groups of thugs on Sargasso, but you can also search for locations where small weak frogs appear, for example.
Return Policy
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Kill 10 Enemies by Returning Shots with the Void Reactor.
Comment: You will need a weapon called the Void Repulser to get this trophy. You can purchase it at the earliest during your first visit to the Savali planet - it costs 17500 Bolts.
You have to develop the weapon to the maximum level 5 so that it "transforms" into the Void Reactor. If you haven't managed to upgrade the Repulsor during your normal playthrough, you can, e.g. enter any arena fight and keep using the weapon until the energy runs out. It is worth noting that you do not have to spend Raritanium to upgrade the Void Reactor in 100%. The only thing that matters is to level up the weapon to level 5.
You focus on the trophy only after the weapon becomes the Void Reactor. Again, the best place for getting this trophy is the arena. You can choose, for example, the first Bronze Cup fight - Welcoming Committee. Focus only on enemies equipped with firearms. You can kill everyone else however you want. If you chose the Welcome Committee, pirates with firearms should appear in the 2nd and 4th round.
Leveling the weapon up to level 5 has unlocked the ability to "store" projectiles thanks to the shield. Press R2 halfway to activate the shield - let the enemies shoot at you. The stored projectiles will appear on the shield as purple orbs and the shield itself will also gradually turn purple. Don't let the shield run out of energy too soon or you won't be able to make the next move.
You can deflect the collected projectiles by pressing R2 all the way down. In this case, you have to make sure that the enemies are not killed by the wave released by the shield itself, but by the deflected bullets. Try to deflect projectiles towards more distant enemies. Also, remember to be facing them, otherwise, the deflected bullets may miss. Keep doing this until you unlock the trophy.
Hole Puncher
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Get 20 Headshots with the Headhunter.
Comment: The weapon required for this trophy is the Headhunter - a powerful sniper rifle that costs 40000 Bolts. It becomes available for purchase when you reach the planet Ardolis.
When using the sniper rifle, use the scope by holding down L2 and press the right analog stick (R3) to zoom in. This should help you aim at opponents' heads.
Life of the Party
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Deploy 50 Mr. Fungis.
Comment: This trophy is for a weapon/gadget called Mr. Fungi. You can purchase this equipment early on in the game, specifically when you first arrive in Nefarious City. It costs only 3000 Bolts.
When you use Mr. Fungi, you get a temporary ally. Try to use this gadget regularly throughout the game.
Extreme Gardening
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Defeat 30 Enemies While They are Topiary'd.
Comment: Topiary Sprinkler, a weapon/gadget, is associated with this trophy. You can purchase it on your first visit to the planet Sargasso - it costs 4000 bolts.
Opponents hit by the Sprinkler are temporarily turned into plants - quickly switch to another weapon or run up to them and attack with a melee weapon. It is best to choose weak enemies so that you can be sure to defeat them before Topiary Sprinkler's effect wears off.
It's So Fluffy!
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Find a CraiggerBear.
Comment: CraiggerBears are one of the collectibles. We have listed their locations on a separate CraiggerBears page.
UnBEARably Awesome
Trophy type: gold
How to unlock: Find all CraiggerBears.
Comment: This is a more difficult version of the It's So Fluffy! trophy described above. You have to find all 9 CraiggerBears.
Extinction Event
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Kill Five Grunthors.
Comment: Grunthors are large beasts resembling a t-rex. Your first encounter with them is during the exploration of the planet Sargasso. Even though fights with Grunthors are optional, you should use every opportunity to face them - defeat the monsters to get Raritanium.
You can return to Planet Sargasso (defeated Grunthors will respawn) or kill these monsters in other places:
- You can defeat Sue the Undead Grunthor in one of the Bronze Cup matches.
- During the confrontation with Dr. Nefarious during the second visit to the Gastropub, a single Grunthor will join the boss.
Additional note - If you haven't earned the trophy despite completing the main storyline, don't start a new game right away. Try to return to the planet Sargasso and look around for more Grunthors. Starting a new campaign will reset the "counter" of Grunthors killed.
Just Stay Down
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Defeat 30 Ejected Nefarious Trooper Heads.
Comment: You can unlock this trophy later in the game once the larger machines, Nefarious Trooper Heads, start to appear. A good example of a location with a large number of these enemies is the prison on the planet Viceron.
Destroying the lower part of the enemy machine will catapult the head.
The catapulted soldier's head will proceed to attack the controlled character. You have to eliminate 30 soldiers' heads this way.
Must Go Faster
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Do a Trick Jump While Going at Max Speed with the Hoverboots.
Comment: Hoverboots are a unique gadget thanks to which you can travel fast around the maps. You will unlock it shortly after reaching the Savali planet for the first time.
As a reminder, you can activate Hoverboots by holding R1. Press L2 or R2 to accelerate.
After gaining enough speed, look for ramps with arrows to launch from them at top speed.
When you are in the air, press the jump button - you will perform a special jump from the trophy's description.
Planning Some Destruction
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Collect a Spybot.
Comment: Spyobots are one of the collectibles. You can find them in the game world and receive them as rewards.
Aim to Misbehave
Trophy type: silver
How to unlock: Acquire the RYNO.
Comment: This is a more complex version of the Planning Some Destruction trophy described above. You must find all 10 Spybots. This will give you the plans to produce the secret weapon RYNO 8. Take the Spybots to Mrs. Zurkon (a trader from the game world). You will be able to pick up the unique weapon for free.
We have compiled the locations of all Spybots on a separate page RYNO - the ultimate weapon.
Feeding Friendsy
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Collect 10 Zurpstones for Trudi.
Comment: This trophy is related to the side quest on the planet Sargasso, which involves feeding the flying creature Trudi - we described it on the Return to Sargasso - Trudi page in our walkthrough.
There are 60 Zurpstones to find on Sargasso. However, this trophy requires you to get 10 of them (you will need to find 60 to unlock one of the Spybots).
Sweet, Sweet Victory
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Collect Honey for Chef Tulio.
Comment: This trophy is related to the side quest in which you look for Chef on the planet Blizar Prime. We described this in detail on Finding Tulio's boss page.
You will earn the trophy after you reach the Chef and help her obtain honey by completing the related mission objective.
Might've Broken Something
Trophy type: bronze
How to unlock: Collect Three Lorbs.
Comment: This achievement is related to a side quest available on the planet Savali. We described it on the Gaining Lombax Lore page.
There are 12 altars on Savali - they contain Lorbs, large spheres. After finding the altar, you must hit the sphere with a melee weapon to obtain the Lorb. You only need to get 3 out of the 12 Lorbs.
