On this page of the guide, we tell you what to do when you have a problem solving a puzzle in Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart. Problems with figuring out a solution to Clank's or Glitch's puzzle can theoretically hinder your progress.
Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart has 2 main types of logic puzzles that can stop you for a while.
The first type of puzzle is parts in the interdimensional space, in which you play as Clank and Kit. You must solve 3 puzzles in a row each time. Your task is to direct the projections to a place called the meta-terminal. This is done by acquiring orbs/spheres with different effects, such as strengthening or launching characters into the air. You have to place the orbs in the right slots to reach the meta-terminal and unlock the exit.
The second type of puzzle is parts in which you control a small machine, Glitch. Here your objective is to destroy nests of hostile computer viruses. You may also have to, e.g. avoid enemy attacks or disable protective shields protecting some nests. The controlled character can walk on selected walls and ceilings - you will be able to avoid obstacles and reach new places.
An important note is that completing puzzles in Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart is optional. You can skip them by selecting the appropriate option from the pause menu. We recommend doing this only as a last resort, i.e. if you are completely unable to solve the puzzle and do not want to use the walkthrough.
