- Unlocking the side quest on Sargasso - Help Trudi
- Delivering the first batch of Zurpstones - 15 fruits
- Delivering the second and third batches of Zurpstones - 30 and 60 fruits
- Optional exploration of Sargasso
Unlocking the side quest on Sargasso - Help Trudi
This optional mission on Sargasso is not available during your first visit to the planet. You must first visit the new location Scarstu Debris Field and complete all its main objectives, i.e. visit the Gastropub and do the mandatory arena battles (including the fight with the boss Francois).
When you return near the spaceship, you will receive a message that the Morts are looking for help. You will receive an optional mission objective on Sargasso. Choose this planet as your destination.
After returning to the Gelatonium Factory on Sargasso, talk to one of the Morts. You will learn that the Morts want to give Trudi a fruit called Zurpstone. You will be able to help them with this.
Delivering the first batch of Zurpstones - 15 fruits
Zurpstone) is a purple fruit found in various parts of the planet Sargasso. You must find 15 of the 60 Zurpstones.
During the meeting, Mort will suggest looking for Zurpstones west of the factory. This is a good idea, although you must remember that they can be found all over the map. Use Speetles to cross the water and reach Zurpstones. As a reminder, one of the Speetle nests is located in the clearing next to the factory.
Delivering the second and third batches of Zurpstones - 30 and 60 fruits
The quest doesn't end after delivering 15 Zurpstones. You will be asked for more fruits - the map will show you where to find them. You can choose any fruit you want. Many of them can be accessed by using Speetles.
After delivering a total of 30 Zurpstones, you will unlock the option to fly around the map on Trudi's back. This will help you a lot in discovering 100% of the secrets on the map.
Unfortunately, flying has one major limitation. Trudi can't land everywhere. You need to find special "landing pads" - the Circle icon should appear once you get closer to one of them. Fortunately, there are quite a few of them on the map, so flying is actually very helpful.
After finding 45 of the 60 zurpstones, you will unlock access to Trudi's Fireballs. Press R2 to fire.
You can use fireballs not only to attack opponents from Trudi, but also acquire hard to reach zurpstones. Any fruit hit by the fireball is considered collected. Use this method primarily to get zurpstones hidden on rooftops, chimneys, high ledges and other places inaccessible when traveling as Rivet.
There are additional rewards for bringing Trudi Zurpstones:
- Bringing a total of 30 Zurpstones gets you an additional piece of armor (Galactic Ranger Boots)
- If you bring all 60 Zurpstones, you will receive a Spybot (one of the secret)
Optional exploration of Sargasso
Remember that you can fly over the planet's surface to explore it more thoroughly. The most important collectibles of this location are listed in the Secrets and collectibles chapter.
One of the more interesting secrets is a Golden Bolt levitating high up in the air. You can only obtain it while flying on Trudi's back.
A Pocket Dimension is in the southwestern part of the map. It contains a new obstacle course - you have to destroy selected boxes to get to the next group. Rivet will reach a piece of armor (Robot Disguise).
You can also return to Rivet's Hideout. This time, you can explore it in peace - Seekerpede won't appear again. In the hideout, you'll find, e.g. a teddy bear and an interactive TV (a great opportunity to unlock up to 2 trophies).
