Advice on fighting Rathalos in Monster Hunter World: the monster's strong and weak sides and its hunting strategy:
General Description
Characteristics: The most dangerous beast in the Ancient Forest, known as the King of the Skies. This terrible adversary attacks from above with poison claws and tail.
Habitat: Ancient Forest
In order to stand the best chance against this enemy, consider the following information:
- Rathalos likes to attack from above, but a flashbang or a slingshot can quickly ground it. If you damage its wing, it will be weakened for a while, but will still be trying to take off.
- The enemy wields the powers of poison and fire, and these attacks are particularly dangerous.
- The monster is susceptible to the dragon element - this is its greatest weakness. If you're having a hard time defeating Rathalos, forge a dragon weapon.
