- At some point, you'll encounter a quest that will require you to find the tracks of an ??? Rathian. It' a unique enemy that's very hard to track down.
- You'll have to embark on high rank expeditions and accept high rank optional quests to get some information on the tracks of the ??? Rathian and discover the true nature of this mysterious monster.
- You'll have to find enough ??? Rathian tracks and complete related quests (e.g. the battle against upgraded Anjanath).
- The search for tracks is best run in the background of other quest - you can find the tracks in all areas of the map. The best way is to unlock high rank expeditions and simply roam around the island collecting materials and resources - you can look for the tracks while you're at it.
- Once you collect enough points, go to the Ecological Research Center and choose the Special investigations tab. You'll be assigned a new quest.
- At the end of the quest, you'll battle the Pink Rathian - stronger version of the Rathian; and she packs quite a punch, let me tell you. The battle will be often interrupted by the Legiana, which roams the vicinity.
- Remember that you'll be able to craft many new items. My personal recommendation is a weapon that deals Dragon-type damage.
- The reward will be worth your time - once you defeat the enemy, you'll unlock a whole new portion of the map, new bosses, and numerous crafting options! Many more hours of entertainment await you, if you'll want to defeat all enemies in the game.
