General information about the trophies in Monster Hunter World Monster Hunter World Guide

Last update: 21 March 2018

The estimated difficulty level of getting all the trophies- 5/10 - The basic problem with Monster Hunter World trophies is the huge amount of time required for completing activities connected to certain trophies. This requires a lot of determination and resistance to replaying similar missions. However, this doesn't mean that the game doesn't require any skills. Certain monsters, e.g. Elder Dragons require you to learn their weak and strong points as well as to own the right gear. You can't miss any of the trophies which makes things a little bit easier. The game even encourages you to complete similar hunts multiple times.

Estimated amount of time required to complete the game in 100% - At least 250-300 hours. Trophies from Giant/Miniature Crown groups are the most troublesome ones. They require a little bit of luck - you have to encounter either unnaturally small or huge monsters. Another trophy that requires a lot of grinding is Monster Hunter where you have to hunt 500 different beasts. Some of the "smaller" trophies can also cause you problems, e.g. those where you have to hunt rare monsters with a low chance of spawning and capture them in a specific way.

Number of trophies - 50 - There are 36 bronze trophies, 11 silver trophies, 2 gold trophies and 1 platinum trophy (only on PS4).

Offline trophies - 44

Online trophies - 5 (+the platinum trophy) - In general, the online trophies aren't that demanding. The only problematic one is called Spreading the Word where you have to receive guild cards from other players. You can solve this problem by playing with friends.

Does the difficulty level affect the process of obtaining trophies? - No. The game doesn't offer any options to change a difficulty level.

Minimum number of required playthroughs - One. Completing the story mode is only the introduction to the further challenges. The end game part is the main attraction where you will spend most of your time on activities related to the trophies.

Important notes? Think about making a backup of your save files before you focus on Bourgeois Hunter trophy. This can only be done on the PS4 version of the game (copying save files on a USB device). Said trophy can be easily obtained by "cheating" (more information on the page dedicated to that trophy). However, a mistake can cost you all your equipment.
