Monster Ph.D. in Monster Hunter World Monster Hunter World Guide

Last update: 21 March 2018

This page contains the guide for unlocking Monster Ph.D. silver trophy. You unlock it by researching everything about almost every monster in the game.

This trophy counts only those monsters that can be hunted in the game (they are listed below). Researches are done by hunting said monsters and collecting items that were dropped by them/were carved. Of course, a single hunt isn't enough for a full research. This means that you will have to hunt each monster multiple times. You can check your progress in the Ecological Research center on Astera. Visit that place regularly to see which monsters are fully researched and which ones need further studies.

Note - A full research includes both Low Rank (a research stops at level 3 which isn't enough for making a full research) and High rank of a given monster.
