Below you can find maps of the main village in Monster Hunter World along with descriptions of its most important places.

1. Quest Board. Here you can find the quest board - it lets you start quests, join other players etc. This is the quickest way to start hunting.

2. Item box. Here you can manage your items, equip new gear etc.

3. Armory. Here you can buy new gear.

4. Smithy. The most important place in the village. Here you can forge and upgrade your equipment. Come here whenever you get materials from hunts and check if there is something new that you can forge.

5. Your room. Here you can find: item box, Palico that can move you to training ground and pets collected during your hunts. Later, you will unlock an option to send your Palico on safari to bring you more materials.

6. Gathering Hall. This place lets you interact with other players. There is an item box, a canteen and new options - ability to create a squad or to participate in arena challenges.

7. Canteen. Here you can eat various meals that will grant you a temporary boost. Eating is necessary before participating in more difficult hunts.

8. Ecological Research. Come here after each hunt to update information about a particular monster. Over time, you will learn their weak points, what materials you can get from them or how to track them faster.

9. Botanical Research. Here you can grow various shrooms, honey, insects etc. An item can be collected after each hunt - this helps with crafting, e.g. Mega Potions.

10. Resource Center. Register bounties, investigations and Delivery Quests to get special items.

11. Elder Melder. You can melt items and get something new from them. Because of that you should collect everything in Monster Hunter World - unwanted items can always be melted; research points can be spent on something useful.

12. Provisions Stockpile. A trader that sells various items. Usually offers materials for creating traps, potions etc. Over time, you will be able to buy better items.

13. Argosy. After completing the main storyline, you unlock an option to buy goods (a set that consists of 8 different items) with your research points. This lets you get unique items - you can also request a specific set when you want to get a certain material.
