On this page of the Halo Infinite guide you can find a walkthrough for story mission 5 (The Tower). Our walkthrough explains, among others, how to reach The Tower and how to access its interior, how to reach the source of the UNSC signal, and how to defeat Chak' Lok.
Locate the UNSC signal within the Tower
The mission begins as you approach the titular Tower (the final moments of mission 4 - Restoration)
There are many standard opponents in the vicinity, but you can count on the support of UNSC marines, provided you've brought them over from FOBs or had freed them from Banished (screenshot above) .
Use control panel to unlock the main gate leading to the enemy base. You'll encounter further enemies (beware of snipers - eliminating them is always a priority!).
Your new objective is to end the lockdown in the area. Travel to the marked location to find another control panel.
The next objective is to reactivate the gravity lift. Before you can do that, you need to deal with a new type of opponent - charging Banished (screenshot above) - avoid colliding with them at all costs. Attack them from a distance and look for opportunities to grapple to higher ledges so the enemy won't be able to reach you.
Once all enemies are taken care of, approach the elevator panel. You don't have to fight the incoming reinforcements - simply jump into the gravity lift and the hero will be taken straight to the Tower interior.
In the next area you'll find a Spartan Helmet and a Threat Sensor - further upgrades for Master Chief's equipment. Don't forget that the sensor must be manually selected from the inventory in order to be able to use it (it will replace the Grappleshot as the active item). The sensor can be used to detect nearby enemies - you'll have a perfect opportunity to use it soon.
During your path through the tower, expect easy fights and head to the next upper floors. Collect good weapons along the way. You can also find, among others, a Spartan Core. Your destination is the big yellow door (shown in the screenshot above).
Chak 'Lok boss fight
Once you'll open the door, you can enter the room with a prisoner who is the source of the signal. A dangerous enemy - Chak 'Lok is also here, and you need to face him right now.
The main challenge of this fight is that Chak 'Lok uses optical camouflage, making him a difficult target. You can overcome this obstacle byusing the recently acquired threat sensor.
There is only one active item slot - switch the Grappleshot to the Threat Sensor. To select it from your inventory you must first press right, then down on the D-Pad. Press RB to use the active item.
An activated Threat Sensor creates a sphere. When the boss enters it, his camouflage will be disabled.
During the battle, keep the boss at a medium distance, as Chak 'Lok is equipped with an energy blade wreaking havoc in melee range. All weapons and grenades are applicable in this battle - choose any you see fit.
Chak'lok unfortunately has an extra white shield bar which you must exhaust in the first place. Only after depleting the white shield bar, you can deal real damage to the boss. Moreover, stay at your opponent at all times - if you make too long of a break, the shield bar will restore slightly over time.
After defeating the boss, you can pick up his energy blade. Its a great melee weapon, but won't do much against ranged opponents.
Free the Spartan
Approach the prisoner who was being guarded by Chak'Lok. Next to her you will find a panel which frees the Spartan. The mission is completed - a new cut-scene will begin, while you'll receive 350 Valor points.
