This page of the Halo Infinite game guide shows you where the 7th skull called Fog is - an open world secret (the Connections act).
Last update: 20 December 2021
On this page of the guide to Halo Infinite, you will find the location of the 7th skull - Fog. It's a secret to be found during exploration of the open world, specifically in the part of the Zeta Halo visited in Act Lockdown. Here are the detailed instructions on how to get to skull number seven.
Location of the 7th skull - free exploration
This skull is a bit different because you can find it while exploring the open world. It's not found in a location associated with any of the main missions.
Head to the western part of the Zeta Halo ring. This is an area that's first explored as part of the Connections Act, but you can also find the secret later. It's best to head to the WBO Alpha bases and proceed westward from there.
Continue westbound until you reach the great divide and will see a metal wall on the right side (see screen).
You don't have to climb up there. Instead, go to the edge of the cliff and look down. Here are the lower metal shelves from picture 1- jump onto them and go further.
If you find the stuffed toy from picture 2, it means you're going in the right direction.
Now is the hardest part of the search. See the screen shot to reference the starting point of the climb. You need to reach the next shelves, slightly higher. Every time, you need to skillfully use the rope launcher - always accurately measure the place of launch of the link rope. Aim at the edges of shelves you want to reach, or at adjacent vertical walls.
In the case of more remote shelves, you can boost your efforts by sprinting and firing th rope mid-air. The last shelves to reach are shown in picture 1.
You should then reach location from picture 2, and see the skull, which lies on a kind of altar.
