Last update: 20 December 2021
On this page of the guide to Halo Infinite, you will find the location of the 12th skull - Catch. It's a secret to be found during exploration of the open world, specifically in the part of the Zeta Halo visited in Act Lockdown. Here are the detailed instructions on how to get to skull number twelve.
Location of the 12th skull - free exploration
This skull is a bit different because you can find it while exploring the open world. It's not found in a location associated with any of the main missions.
Start in the northwest corner of the world map, specifically the area highlighted in the image above.
There are 2 main ways to reach your destination:
- Fast-travel to Tremonius Station (the location that you visited in the main mission 3), start traveling along the great rift – look for a place that will allow you to grab a black wall or shelf on the other side after jumping (as in picture 1).
- Use flying vehicle. You can steal an enemy hoover, or collect 2,600 Valor and gain access to an UNSC flying machine called Wasp. You can find more information on the page Aircraft - how to get?.
The destination is the shallow tank guarded by elite opponents. Unfortunately, there are hunters among them.
The interesting thing is that defeating hunters and other nearby Banished is optional. You can just focus on finding the skull shown in the picture, grabbing it, and quickly escaping.

Opponents drop more grenades, but also use them more often.
