Main types of Secrets - Database tab
The basic types of secrets in Halo Infinite are located in the Database tab. This allows you to view them and listen to the audio logs. The following secrets belong to this group:
- UNSC Audio Logs
- Banished Audio Logs
- Spartan Audio Logs
- Forerunner Archives - These are large rings that can be scanned.
- Skulls - These are items that add unique gameplay modifiers (can be set in the main menu).
The game has a built-in mechanism that will help you collect 100% of the aforementioned types of secrets. After opening the Tacmap, you will see the list of secrets in the given area displayed in the bottom left corner. In addition, smaller lists can be displayed by hovering over icons of individual locations associated with missions or the Banished Outposts.
You can read about the exact locations of the collectibles in each mission on the following pages of this chapter.
Spartan Core
Spartan Cores are one of the additional types of secrets. You can find them as you progress through selected missions, and in separate mini-locations in Zeta Halo. You will learn about the locations of the cores in the process of taking over subsequent FOB bases and uncovering the markers of optional locations and activities.
Each core will grant you 1 development point. You can then spend these points in the Upgrades tab to upgrade your equipment (e.g. shield or grappling hook).
Mjolnir Armory
The Mjolnir armory is another unique location in the Zeta Halo ring, which you can discover by taking over subsequent FOB bases.
Each such location features a Mjolnir locket. The lockers contain cosmetic items for the multiplayer. Unfortunately, you won't find any use for them in the campaign mode.
Propaganda towers
The towers are the places where the Banished spread their propaganda - the big loudspeakers make it easy to locate them. Unfortunately, the towers are not marked when you capture a FOB - you must look for them on your own.
Destroy every tower you find - you can use any weapon or grenade. Every destroyed tower is worth 10 Valor points. It is not much, but there are dozens of towers to destroy.
