The Fallout London mod begins with an escape sequence from a scientific facility hidden somewhere underground. After a series of rather linear passageways, you will finally reach an open room near the subway station, where you will listen to an announcement from the mysterious Mr. Smythe. Deciding where to go next might be a little perplexing. Our guide will help you find the right path.

How to get to the large metro station?
From the moment you create your character and free yourself from the capsule (we described it on a separate page of the guide), Fallout London takes you through the corridors of the scientific facility in a fairly linear manner. Shortly after finding a flashlight and having an enigmatic conversation through the glass, you will finally reach the elevator, which will take you to a large hall resembling a representative metro station.
At this point you will be stopped by a mysterious message from Mr. Smythe. He will provide you with some background story, after which you can return to exploration. Look around the large room and collect all the items that interest you. However, if you want to move on, you may start wondering which direction to go?
What to do with a "Do it" message?
Many players' instinct may be to head for the elevator shaft at the end of the room, just below the illuminated square and compasses symbol. You can use it to go up a floor.
Be careful, because right after you exit the elevator, you will be attacked by mutated shrews. Walk along the corridor, passing several doors. Most of them will be locked, but you will be able to pry some of them open. To do this, your character must have more than 7 Strength points.
At the end of the corridor you will find a locked door, which you can try to open with a lockpick. This activity will introduce new players to the mechanics of lockpicking and will allow fans of the Fallout series to reminisce about this mini-game.
After opening the door, you will reach the balcony. There you will find a skeleton hanging over the abyss and a note with the telling message "Do it."
Do not attempt to jump over the balcony railing, regardless of the suggestion on paper. Your character will fall several floors below and die. The message shouldn't be considered as a guide, but rather as just an element of exposition.
How to leave the metro station?
To proceed with the storyline, go back to the main, large hall (you can return from the balcony by simply going back to the elevator and descending). The actual exit is located slightly below the elevator shaft and the square and compasses symbol.
Standing next to the fountain, turn towards the illuminated symbol. Move towards it, but don't go on the escalators, just go between them. On the right you will find a black door labeled "Underground London Bridge." The doors will take you directly to the metro station. There, your task will be to find a ticket to the gate, but you can read more about it on a separate page of our guide. Soon you will get on a train that will take you to the right part of London.
