Trade | Items Dragon's Dogma Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
Trade in the game is not too diversified. Owners are divided into categories, which is why there are more than one in the city. Each one, however, offers the same purchase and sell prices, which is why you do not have to search for another trader to earn more. A huge downside of the trading system here is that merchants hardly ever change their merchandise. You can always buy the same items from them. New items are added every several main quests (a new act). The upside, on the other hand, is that they have a limitless amount of money, which is why you can sell as many items as you want, to one merchant.
Sometimes, merchants offer items, such as the Ferrystone, for different prices. This is why it is best to check the price at different merchants, of the items that you often use and buy (especially healing items and buffing potions). In the second act, you can also take on special quests: Idol Worship and Supplier's Demand, thanks to which you can decrease prices with both of the merchants in Gran Soren. For detailed information, see chapter Act 2 (ZP), where walkthroughs for those quests have been provided.
