Tracking down the real terrorists is one of the main quests that takes part during your second visit in Prague. It will be added to your journal, soon after you finish the main quest Checking out the Men in Charge and exit TF29. Alex Vega will contact Jensen, and she will arrange a meeting with Janus.
Vega shall also mention a pocket secretary with information on Marchenko for the main hero. You should look for it right away. In order to do that, you will need to reach Central Plaza in south Prague (M3,4). The palmtop will be hidden in the bin presented in the screenshot (350 exp. points).
Mission objectives
1. OBLIGATORY -Meet with Janus - Janus is located in the abandoned tourist information center (M3,5).
2. OBLIGATORY -Escape the drones - Reach the sewers under Cista district (map M9) and get to one of the exits to the surface.
Meet with Janus
In order to meet with Janus, you will have to travel to the abandoned tourist information centre in north Prague. (M3,5). The door is locked but you can get inside through broken window above it. Locate another door that can be opened (first level of security), use the shaft and climb down the ladder.
Once you reach level 1, get to the presented room and take part in a video conference with Janus (500 exp. points). The conference will be disturbed by hostile drones.
Escape the drones
You need to be fast, as right after the conversation several drones will get into the main room. If you are for an aggressive approach, you can shoot them some firearms, and EMP ammo is highly recommended. You can also throw some EMP grenades when drones are close to one another.
A less direct approach would be to use remote hacking, so if you have this upgrade, you can use it to immobilize drones for some time.
You can also avoid the entire interception. The best way to do that is to use camouflage. If you don't have one, or you ran out of bio batteries needed for it to work, you can move between small rooms through air shafts. Entrance to the first one is in the same room where you have spoken with Janus before (it's behind the crates). In the next room, you will have to jump to reach the air shaft, as the crate is located on the ceiling.
Do not try to leave the place the same way you got in, as mines have been planted. Instead, reach a side area on level 1 with the hole presented in the screenshot. Jump inside, and you will end up in the sewers (M9,1).
Remember - Don't mind the fact that drones went into searching mode when they get to the sewers. It does not mean that Jensen has been spotted.
There are more drones scattered around the first large area of the sewers, so be careful. Just like before, you can destroy or hack them. If you are going to sneak, you should turn left, open the gate (1 level security) and move carefully between objects.
Head for the gate located on the 3rd level of the sewers (M9,1). You can help yourself with camouflage or wait for the drones to move to a different location and sneak via large pipes.
You must decide which exit you will go for. If you want to reach the north one (M9,10), turn right, and crouch under the laser beam (or hack the trap with remote hacking). There are gas mines in the next corridor. If you have the Implanted Rebreather, ignore them. Otherwise, approach them slowly and disarm one by one.
If you want to reach the exit in the west (M9,5), you will come across an electrified floor. You can ignore it, if you have the upgraded electromagnetic shield. Escape the sewers to receive 500 exp. points.
Soon after you exit the sewers, you will be called by Nomad Stanek, and asked to rescue his daughter Allison. Head for one of the subway stations. When you get to the platform, Alex Vega will inform Jensen that there is one last chance to rob VersaLife bank and obtain information on the Orchid. You will have to decide INITIALLY which quest to begin:
- Confronting the bomb-maker (left option) - Your quest will be to save Stanek's daughter, who created the bomb.
- The Heist (right option) - Your task will be to get into VersaLife bank and obtain information on the Orchid.
Remember - you can complete only one of these quests. You don't have to decide right away, but once you begin one of them (enter the Church of Machine God or Palisade Property Bank), the other one will be cancelled, and thus you won't obtain information on the Orchid (if you pick Allison), or you will get Allison Stanek killed (if you rob the bank).
One should keep in mind that both quests have a common objective, which is to gather information on G.A.R.M. facility and Marchenko's plans. The next main quest (13th) GARM will be unlocked regardless of your choice.
