Checking Out the Men in Charge - main quest Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Guide

Checking out the Men in charge is one of two main quests that can be unlocked once you get back from Golem City, where you were supposed to complete The Rucker Extraction(the order in which you complete the objectives will not affect the gameplay). The majority of the quest will take place in virtual reality, where you will play as Jim Miller and your task will be to hack five servers. However, before this happens, you will need to locate a secret room in his apartment.
Mission objectives
1. OBLIGATORY -Search Miller's apartment - The flat is in an apartment in Hlavni 33 (M8,1) and you need to locate a hidden room on the upper floor (hitting the boxing bag)).
2. OBLIGATORY - Meet Vega near TF29 - The meeting will take place not far from the TF29 headquarters.
3. OBLIGATORY - Use the NSN device - the device is located in the room next to Miller's office.
4. OBLIGATORY -Retrieve data from 5 servers - you will find them in virtual reality.
5. OBLIGATORY - Exit the NSN - The objective will be unlocked once you watch the recording from one of the servers.
Search Miller's apartment
Miller's apartment is located in north Prague, in Hlavni 33 - apartment 203 (M8,1). The door has a level three security, but there are two other ways to get inside - you can use window sills to reach one of the windows or use the air shaft in the ceiling (M8,7) in apartment 202.
The only important object on the ground floor is Miller's computer with second level security. Hack into it and read all the emails.
Go to the top floor and interact with the boxing bag presented in the screenshot. This will grant you access to a hidden room (M8,11).
Try to hack into the second computer (third level security). Read all the 3 emails. Collect Miller's access card and you will earn 1950 exp. Points. Vega will call you and suggest that you ought to meet face to face.
Meet Vega near TF29
You will meet with Alex Vega on a small courtyard near TF29 in north part of Prague (M3,19). If you were able to find Rucker's evidence earlier, and did not give it to Miller, you will be able to give it to Vega (or keep it for yourself). Once the meeting is over, you will receive 500 exp. points.
Hear out the plan and enter TF29 to reach Miller's office (M7,3). Use the access card to open the door. NSN device is in the neighboring room. Go there to enter virtual reality.
Retrieve data from 5 servers
General information concerning NSN device
This part of the gameplay is unusual, because you will move around virtual reality as Jim Miller. Although you won't come across any enemies, you will have to avoid being detected by the monitoring and firewall, as setting off the alarm will make you start the whole process from the beginning.
You won't need weapons in virtual reality and your only "gadget" will be the ability to remotely hack devices. If Jensen already has this upgrade, you will know exactly how to use it. If not, practice on any interactive item - once you start the process of hacking, press buttons when the vertical line gets to the right place. (see screenshot). You will have several attempts and you will have to finish before the time runs out. Use quick save before each hacking just in case.
In order to obtain the recording, you will need to reach five servers and download data. You can reach servers 2-5 in random order, and thus you don't have to follow the guide too much.
Remember - when you reach the main part of TF29 (location of servers 2-5), you can try to obtain a triple code. To do that, go to lower floor (use the stairs) and use remote hacking to remove the block presented in the screenshot. This will grant you access to an air shaft that will take you to a room with the triple code.
Server one
Go to the back of the large conference room and place yourself in the highlighted position to access the virtual version of TF29. You can choose any of the corridors - left or right. Use remote hacking to remove the obstacle. Once you proceed further, face the interactive block presented in the screenshot. Get rid of it with remote hacking.
Removing the large block will reveal the air shaft. Use it to reach the room with the first data tower. Interact with it to download data.
You can leave the room and use the nearby passage to access area with servers 2-5.
Server two
Turn left and go downstairs. Carefully avoid the security camera and move towards the left room. Place yourself by the presented wall and interact with two blocks in the distance.
Run towards the first block and use it as cover (to avoid nearby cameras). Get to the other block and access the air shaft. Use the second one to reach the other side of the room.
Face the camera presented in the screenshot. Use remote hacking to activate the nearby block. It will block the camera and allow you to move further.
Get to the ladder at the end of the corridor. Climb it and approach the second data tower.
Server three
Get back to the location where you began exploring virtual TF29. Go straight and ignore the server protected by lasers (you will access it later). Reach the end of the area and use remote hacking in the place presented in the screenshot. This will activate a bock that you will jump at and reach the nearby shelf.
Turn right and approach two interactive blocks presented in the screenshot. Use remote hacking on the first one and jump on it.
Activate the second block and reach the third data tower. Download data.
Server four
Start at the entrance to TF29, use the stairs on the left to go down and carefully avoid the camera. Investigate the second area on the left - there are laser traps here. Crouch and move forwards when both vertical and horizontal lasers are far away from you.
Pass the lasers and use the first ladder. Reach the hoe in the ceiling and use remote hacking to activate the second ladder. Use it and reach the air shaft. Approach the data tower and download the data.
Server five
Remain in the position where the fourth server is located. Activate the interactive block presented in the screenshot, and jump towards it. You will get to a roof of a triangle-shaped construction.
Investigate the roof and find the entrance presented in the screenshot. Jump inside.
Make a couple of steps and look down. Jump towards the data tower surrounded by lasers and download the data.
Exit NSN
Hack into all five servers and you will be awarded with a longer cut scene, and once it is over, Jensen will automatically leave NSN position. Get back to Miller's office to begin conversation with doctor Auzenne, who can give you side quest: Fade to Black. Another main quest: Facing the Enigma, will be unlocked once you exit TF29 - you must wait for Jensen to contact Alex Vega again.
