Challenges | Challenges and achievements DARK Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
DARK doesn't offer a lot after you've successfully finished the entire singleplayer campaign, because the game doesn't have any New Game Plus modes. Another factor that doesn't encourage the player to start over is that you can easily unlock the game's both endings simply by replaying the final boss battle. The only way to extend your time spend playing the game is by choosing Challenges available from the main menu. The challenges aren't original and they don't introduce any new gameplay elements, forcing you to eliminate hostile guards in the shortest amount of time possible while trying to remain undetected. Sadly the game doesn't reward you for completing challenges in any way and all of them take place in locations which Eric already had a chance to visit in the main campaign.
I recommend that you start doing the challenges after you've finished the entire game so that you'll be very familiar with the advanced mechanics and you'll also know the locations. The bad news is that you won't be allowed to transfer any of your vampiric powers from the main campaign. You are thankfully given a few power points at the beginning of each challenge so make sure to read the chapter about Eric's abilities to find out which ones you should invest in.
