Atlantis - entrance | Chapter 3 DARK Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
Take some time to get to know the rules of the first part of this chapter. Eric's job will be to plant smoke bombs in certain areas of the Atlantis club and until he does that he won't be able to his vampiric powers (the only exception is the Vampire Vision since using this ability doesn't affect the surrounding world). Another restriction is that you won't be allowed to attack anyone. Sadly you can't count on enemies making it easier for you. As a result you will have to pay more attention than usual to avoiding them and also you'll have to stay away from the local security cameras.
Important tip - If you're seen by a guard or by a local camera then you'll automatically fail the mission and return to the last checkpoint. Once this happens you shouldn't "manually" reload the checkpoint, because even though you didn't succeed you won't lose experience points from collecting PDA's and completing tasks. You can use this opportunity to earn some extra XP and therefore advance faster to higher levels.
As soon as you've regained control over Eric start paying attention to a guard who's circling the central fountain (he's moving clockwise). Use nearby pillars and other big obstacles to avoid stepping in his field of vision.
Approach the main entrance to the building from the left side and notice that it's being monitored not only by a second guard but also by a security camera. Thankfully the game will always let you to know what area the cameras are observing and in each case you'll have to wait for them to turn in another direction. If you're spotted by a camera you won't raise an alarm instantly, however you will have to find cover very quickly (moving away from the camera won't do the trick).
Look at the screen displayed above, because it shows an ideal moment for when you should move - the guard will be heading towards the entrance himself and the camera won't be covering your position. Follow the guard into a narrow corridor.
Once you're inside the building you shouldn't rush to get to the main area of Atlantis as soon as possible, because there's one more guard in front of you. Take cover near a brick wall seen on the screen above and patiently wait for a good moment to get moving.
Start moving towards the entrance IMMEDIATELY AFTER the guard seen in front of you has turned around. You can't do it too late, because you won't make it in time and he'll face the stairs again noticing your presence.
