Game Guide - About the guide Thief Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
This guide has been prepared at the highest, "standard", difficulty level - Master. In this mode, guards are more cautious, you cannot engage civilians, the Focus bar depletes faster and the merchants charge you more for the equipment that you purchase between missions.. A detailed description of all the settings of the difficulty level, can be found in the chapter concerned with hints on gameplay.
Color coding in this walkthrough
For the single player mode, this walkthrough has been color-coded in the following manner:
- Brown has, mostly, been used for the characters that you encounter, regardless of whether they are friendly, neutral or hostile. Additionally, this color has been used to mark the locations where there are traps, which may cause blowing Garrett's cover or even his death.
- Blue has been used for the names of the locations that you visit. The game displays the name of a given location in the bottom-left corner of the screen, as soon as you enter that location. The names are, moreover, displayed on the map of the area.
- Green has been used for standard items. What this means are mainly treasures (coins, chalices, clocks etc.) although, this color also informs you of the locations in which you can obtain elements of the protagonist's equipment (e.g. new arrows). Note - the value in the brackets informs you of how valuable a given item is (e.g. 5G means that it is worth 5 gold pieces).
- Orange has been used, in the first place, for unique items, I.e. the ones that count as collectibles. This color also informs you of the locations in which you can obtain documents.
