The Salutor Djinn boss battle in The Thaumaturge takes place during the course of the Fearless side quest. Where is Djinn?

1. Djinn is one of the Salutors that appears in one of the side quests rather than the main story. For the chance to face the boss and add him to your roster, you need to proceed with Fearless, a side quest, and for more information on it, visit the dedicated page in our walkthrough.
2. The mission involves tracking down thief Leila to confront her Flaw. The showdown will take place in Harem Brothel in Mirow district, after searching the building and proving the woman's theft. Djinn will reveal himself after successfully confronting Leila using Tweezer.

How to defeat Salutor Djinn?

1. Similarly to other fights with Salutors, instead of attacking the boss directly, you need to eliminate shadows that are sent by the boss in incoming groups. Defeating incoming shadows will deprive the Salutor of health gradually.
2. Remember to check the Traits of every new appearing shadow and choose the right Salutors to remove them. After removing the Trait, you can start damaging the shadow with your favourite attacks.
3. The first unique attack of Djinn is Quareen's Persuasion - it applies a negative status on Wiktor which may result in serious damage dealt to the protagonist after the end of each turn. Prevent this by using abilities that dispel negative statuses, e.g. Upyr's Liberum Veto. Try to remove the status before the current turn is over so you avoid the damage.

1. The second group of shadows attacking you will consist of as many as 4 opponents. Notice that some of them initially stand in the second row. Remember that in order to be able to attack, the second-row shadows need to move to the first row - use this fact to your advantage and focus your attacks on the closer enemies. If you don't have a Dimension developed enough, use Suffering or other negative statuses/curses.
2. The Djinn can additionally use Dervish's Nightmare, an unavoidable attack. Dervish's Nightmare deals less damage than Qareen's Persuasion, but make sure to use healing skills if needed so Wiktor's health doesn't drop below 15-20 points.

Rewards for defeating the boss

1. After defeating the Djinn, you need to return to Rasputin in Powazki. Only after Rasputin's hypnosis, the Djinn is successfully tamed and from that moment on you can use him in battle. This will additionally unlock new Heart Dimension abilities.
2. Aside from the above, you'll receive XP and unlock Audacity Flaw (after suffering a killing blow, instead of dying, Wiktor will be revived with 1 health point).
