Unlocking the school and exam choice options
- Ounabara Vocational School mini-game from Yakuza 7 is back. Ichiban can take exams that will test his knowledge on various topics. Successfully passing the exam is rewarded with a certificate and an increase in the protagonist's Personality statistics. Any 10 certificates you earn will also unlock the License to Skill trophy.
- The mini-game becomes available at the earliest in chapter 4, because you need to have access to western Honolulu. Reach the school at Harbor St. to automatically start Substory #21 - it's a short mission with an introduction to the mini-game and the first exam (failing it won't block the mini-game). From now on, you can freely visit the school and take a total of 21 different exams. You have to pay for each exam (usually several hundred dollars), so it's worth saving the game in advance.
- The exams have random questions from a pool related to a given topic (e.g. mathematics, knowledge about Hawaii). Further down the page, we tried to gather as many possible questions as we could. You must correctly answer at least 3 out of 5 questions on the test.
How to cheat and have more time to answer?
- You have 30 seconds for each answer and you must select it from among the 4 available options. Pausing the game is blocked while playing the mini-game, but you can try to work around this problem.
- When playing on consoles, return to the console dashboard without turning off the game. On PS5, press the PS button on the controller and after opening the menu, select the Home option from the bottom list (example in the image above). You will be taken to the console's dashboard and the game will pause in the background. You can use this time to look for the right answer.
How to quickly get answers?
- Below you will find questions and correct answers for each exam. To make it easier, we decided to writ down the last sentence of the question - read it quickly in the game and then look for the matching answer in the guide.
- Don't waste time reading all the questions, unless there are several very similar ones. Sometimes you also need to choose a picture - we tried to show or describe the correct one.
