In Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, you can engage in the optional activity of expanding the Resort on Dondoko Island. On this guide page, you'll find a complete set of information about this mini-game. Unlocking Dondoko Island and its most important activities

1. Dondoko Island is a major optional activity that you will encounter at the beginning of Chapter 6. During your first visit, you must spend at least 2 full days on the island. You are free to return later (also in Premium Adventure) using the Dondoko Island Transport in Honolulu - for more details, visit the How to leave Dondoko Island? page.
2. The main aim of this activity is to convert Dondoko Island from a neglected, littered island into an appealing resort. It will allow inviting guests to the island who will be happy to pay for their vacation. You must complete the main objectives, thanks to which the resort will be rewarded with more stars. This will unlock new areas of the island, as well as various new mechanics and shopping options.
3. You have the option to modify the island's appearance by constructing shops, stalls, or a variety of decorations such as street lamps and statues. You will learn how the editor works during a tutorial. To make new objects, you need materials (obtained on the island) and blueprints (you can find/buy them in the three main cities, find them on Dondoko Island, or receive them as rewards for progressing in the mini-game).
4. The island has a day and night cycle. All activities are performed during the day, and in the evening, you can return to your home and rest to regenerate your health. This game doesn't have a limit on the number of days to complete it. Take your time and don't neglect sleep.

1. You can progressively recapture additional island regions by clearing them of trash, elevating their status, and then paying for their renovation (Clear Out board). You'll always have new trash appearing every day, so you won't be short of new ones. We recommend upgrading the region to at least a B Cleanliness level, which will result in a noticeably cheaper purchase.
2. The local currency is Dokobucks. You can get them by completing various challenges (Suggestion Box tab), progressing in the game, or selling the collected loot to Matayoshiya. Starting from day 3, currency exchange is available at Dondoko Island Transport (Convert Dokobucks option) - for instance, 500 dollars or 50,000 yen is 50,000 Dokobucks. You can also receive money to spend in three main cities for certain achievements on Dondoko Island, such as increasing the number of resort stars.
3. We suggest gathering free raw resources at the Recycling Area after the start of each day (the game enables you to build structures that will enhance their daily growth) and checking out the daily challenges, which are rewarded with cash.

How to increase Popularity?

1. Popularity is one of the factors that characterize the island. Increasing popularity is necessary in order to meet the requirements for raising the resort's star rating.
2. The easiest way to increase Popularity is to collect unique loot. Participate in fishing, capturing insects, and gathering items from the ground, such as shells and mushrooms. The game will only reward you for each new find (like discovering a new species of insect). Fortunately, new species and new items can also randomly appear in locations that have already been explored.
3. Alternative methods for boosting Popularity include providing souvenirs for guests and constructing large buildings such as stores, cinemas, or nightclubs. Be mindful of the thumbs up icon next to the description of the gift or item.

How to invite guests to the island?

1. The option to invite guests is initially blocked. You need to use the progress in the mini-game to ensure that your resort reaches 1 star.
2. You must first take care of lodgings. At the beginning, only one such object is allowed on the island. Developing the island will unlock higher quality lodgings (such as higher rank and accommodating more people), and eventually, the game will let you construct up to 5 buildings of this category. They can be purchased from Kenzo for Dokobucks.
3. You have the option to use the guest pool provided by the game or discover new guests in the game's 3 main cities. For instance, it could be someone you encountered during Memoir of a Dragon or someone you helped in a Substory. Later in the game, you will also have access to advertising campaigns that help you attract new guests.
4. Each guest has their own preferences, such as the quality of the island, its style, and amenities. Select guests who have fully met 100% of your requirements as your first choice. There is a better chance that they will be satisfied at the end of the 3-day vacation.
5. Upon the arrival of guests, you can also greet them (with an emote) and give them souvenirs - the latter you must first invent and then produce (the tutorial shows it). Both of these actions can be carried out once a day for a specific guest. It's worth taking care of this always after starting a new day.

Fighting and extending Kasuga's health bar

1. You'll encounter Dread Pirates on Dondoko Island and will need to handle them at specific points in the game. Pirates can mainly be found in regions that can be captured. They will respawn daily until the renovation of a selected part of the island is completed.
2. The fighting system on Dondoko Island involves real-time combat, although it's not overly complex. You can attack with a baseball bat. Kenzo can upgrade the bat, but he will only increase the speed of its attacks. Furthermore, you should dodge when you notice that the opponent is preparing for a powerful strike or swing.
3. Enemies may also appear in already rebuilt areas. The game alerts you about this, and you should promptly find them (red dots on the map) and defeat them. Ignoring this warning could lead to guests being expelled from your island the following day. At specific points, you will also come across different minibosses. They have increased endurance - rely more on dodges and attack them right after they finish their attacks.
4. At first, Kasuga has only 3 hearts on his health bar. Losing all of them will result in you being sent home and losing a few Dokobucks.
5. The game allows you to permanently increase the number of hearts. In order to do that, you have to decorate Kasuga's home, which you received right at the beginning. Place any furniture in it - the more expensive, the easier the health bar will extend. At some point in the game, you'll also unlock the home expansion mechanic to allow for more decorations. We recommend getting at least 5-6 hearts, which will allow you to defeat the opponents encountered on any given day with relative comfort.

How to build bridges?

1. Dondoko Island is divided into sectors, and access to many parts of the island is blocked by cliffs or bodies of water. The solution to this problem is to build bridges. Unfortunately, at first the game won't let you do that. Upon reaching the bridge order sign, you'll discover that you haven't progressed enough in the minigame.
2. You can start building bridges after reaching a 2-star resort, but you can only construct bridges related to the regions in the current requirements. Each bridge costs 200,000 Dokobucks. New fishing spots may also appear on some bridges as you unlock new paths.

How to unlock Dondoko Farm?

1. You can reach the titular farm on a raft from the western beach, as it's located in a separate part of Dondoko Island. It will only be automatically unlocked after achieving 2 resort stars.
2. Dondoko Farm is associated with the Sujimon Battle minigame. Recruited Sujimon fighters may show up there, and through farm activities, you can develop relationships with them and train them. Opponents will start to appear at Dondoko Farm in the later part of the mini-game, and you'll need to defeat them using the fighters.
3. You can assign your Sujimons to Workshop (earning Dokobucks), Training Spot (training warriors), Recycling Center (recovering materials for crafting), and Crop Patches (cultivating vegetables and fruits that can be further used or sold).
4. You have the option to select the duration of work for each position - the greater the duration you choose, the higher the final reward will be (e.g. 300,000 Dokobucks for 60 minutes of work in the Workshop). The counter only considers the game's active time. Disabling Infinite Wealth and restarting it, for instance in an hour, won't work. You have the option to quickly check the time remaining until the end from the Dondoko Farm tab in the main activity window.
