Photo Rally is an optional activity in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth in which you take photographs of unique landmarks/objects found across different districts of both Honolulu and Yokohama. On this page of our guide, we show how to unlock the activity as Ichiban (Substory 32), how to take photos correctly, and how many photos you need to take to complete the Photo Rally mini-game.
List of all photos
There are a total of 110 different photos to take in order to complete Photo Rally mini-game:
- 15 photos in Honolulu's Little Japan district.
- 15 photos in Honolulu's Waikiki district.
- 10 photos at Anaconda Shopping Center in Honolulu.
- 15 photos in Honolulu's Downtown, Chinatown and District Five districts.
- 15 photos in Honolulu's Cultural District and Harbor Park.
- 10 photos in the Bar District in Isezaki Ijincho (playing as Kiryu).
- 15 photos in the Downtown district in Isezaki Ijincho (playing as Kiryu).
- 15 photos in the Uptown district of Isezaki Ijincho (playing as Kiryu).
Unlocking Substory #32
- The activity can be unlocked starting from Chapter 5. In Honolulu, while playing as Ichiban, you'll have an opportunity to visit Alo-Happy Tours travel agency in Worldwide Market Village mall related to the mechanic of learning new Jobs. We have described it on the How to change Jobs? page.
- When attempting to leave the travel agency, an NPC named Alo-Happy will talk to you and give you a leaflet related to Photo Rally. This begins Substory #32 - Tropical Photo Rally.
How to take a correct photo
- The idea behind this mini-game is to find landmarks and objects based on small photos that you can browse in the Photo Rally app on your phone. There are separate Photo Rallies for different districts of both Honolulu and Yokohama. The descriptions of photos are also hints about the locations you need to reach and take a photo of.
- Upon arriving at an object that you need to photograph, a grey camera icon will appear. Now, you need to equip the camera (d-pad up on controller) and manipulate the lens so the camera icon turns green (example in the screenshot). Press the button to make the photograph.
- Collecting an entire set of photos from the given district is rewarded with a rare weapon that can be picked up at the travel agency. Additionally, taking 30 correct photos is rewarded with Photo Hunter trophy.
