Kasuga Ichiban and Kazuma Kiryu are two charismatic and handsome protagonists of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. On this guide page, we describe whether the main characters can engage in romances, when they can possibly be unlocked, and if you can go on less obliging dates with women you meet through the Miss Match mini-game.

Ichiban and Saeko relationship

1. The romance between Ichiban and Saeko is the only significant one in Infinite Wealth, involving two characters that players have already encountered in the seventh installment of the Yakuza series.
2. At the start of the new campaign, you'll discover that Kasuga has developed feelings for Saeko, and, encouraged by his friends, he will invite her out on a date.

1. The meeting of both characters will ultimately not go as Ichiban had hoped, despite the promising start. This will result in Ichiban and Saeko being separated for a longer period of time. Kasuga will handle the latest events and head to Honolulu alone, while Saeko will focus on her daily duties of managing one of the clubs in Isezaki Ijincho.
2. You have to wait until the finale for the resumption of the romance and a potential relationship between Ichiban and Saeko. However, we won't reveal to you how the fate of the two characters may eventually develop. You'll find out by watching one of the final scenes of the game.

Miss Match mini-game

1. An alternative to attempting to get into a more serious relationship is the Miss Match mini-game, which has very similar principles to dating apps like Tinder.
2. In Chapter 3 or later, playing as Ichiban, you can visit the Waikiki district on the Honolulu map and start Substory #7 - Miss Match. The map above shows the precise location for unlocking this side mission. You will meet Machiko-san, who will share her experience with her dating application.

1. As part of the mini-game, Kasuga has the option to set up his profile on a dating site, including his photo and a description covering aspects such as his job, appearance, interests, and what he seeks in a future partner.
2. The game allows you to modify the existing profile. The goal is to improve matching with future candidates - the optimal result is to achieve 100% compatibility. This means that the interests, aspirations, and lifestyle of Ichiban and the randomly chosen user, Miss Match, align to a great extent.
3. The mini-game also promotes microtransactions - you have the option to purchase virtual currency (using cash earned in the game) to upgrade your account to a higher class (up to platinum). This may improve the likelihood of choosing the perfect woman from the list of service users.

1. After finding a "matching" user, you can start the online dating mini-game. It mainly consists of choosing and quickly typing responses that align with Ichiban's profile and the preferences of the woman he is texting with.
2. The date may end in a face-to-face meeting if the progress bar is crossed with the heart icon at the end of the mini-game. Earlier, you may also receive more or less spicy photos. The meeting can be humorous or authentic. It's always a single scene. Don't expect to start a long-term relationship.
3. There are a total of 10 different dates to have . You need to constantly modify Kasuga's profile to match the "missing" candidates. The game also allows you to analyze progress from dates already completed.

Romantic scenes in Substories #47-#52

Some of the Substories - side missions - lead to humorous scenes with a romantic undertone. Ichiban may suddenly find himself in a situation where one of the women he encounters reveals her feelings for him or wants to spend a moment in privacy. Substories do not lead to further romances. Treat this as one-time moments.

This happens in:

1. Substory #47 - Certifiable Lover - You must complete all 21 exams at Ounabara Vocational School in west Honolulu, talk to Maeda at the front desk of the school building, and deliver all the gifts she asks for.
2. Substory #48 - The Ultimate Alo-Happy Activity! - You must purchase all tours from Alo-Happy Tours, meet Elizabeth at the travel agency in Worldwide Market Village, and deliver all the gifts she asks for.
3. Substory #49 - She Never Misses - You have to complete all 10 dates in the Miss Match mini-game, meet with Machiko-san at the Cream & Berry restaurant and deliver all the gifts she asks for.
4. Substory #50 - Together, Forever... - You need to upgrade the Poundmates app to level 2 (summon allies during fights), meet the bodybuilder Chitose at Oahu Burger in southeast Honolulu and deliver all the gifts she asks for.
5. Substory #51 - Experimental Procedures - You need to advance Julie's Workshop to the highest level 4 (invest money in it), meet with Julie and deliver all the gifts she asks for.
6. Substory #52 - Surviving Paradise - This mission ends the series of dating quests. Complete Substories from #47 to #51 and go to Revolve Bar.
