When attempting to complete Substory #14 (Neck Deep in Love) in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, you may have problems locating Tanabe-kun, to whom you need to deliver a love letter. On this page of our guide, we explain how to initiate Substory #14 and where to find the boy in Aloha Beach.
Unlocking Substory 14 (Neck Deep in Love)
- Substory #14 (Neck Deep in Love) can be initiated by Ichiban starting from Chapter 3.
- Travel to the western part of Aloha Beach. You'll meet Hitomi Hamabe, a local high school student. Interact with the NPC and the girl will ask you to deliver a letter to the boy she has a crush on - Tanabe-kun (choose this name correctly from the list and you will receive a bonus to Intellect).
Which of the boys is Tanabe-kun?
- From the description received from Hitomi, you will learn that Tanabe-kun wears glasses and that he has short hair. You will also receive his photo - Photo of Tanabe-kun.
- Additionally, you can talk to sand-buried boys on the beach. Each of them will provide you with a partial clue about the whereabouts of Tanabe-Kun.
- The sought boy can be found in the location shown in the screenshots above - remember that he is supposed to have glasses and short hair. This means that he is in the second row from the ocean.
Ending of Substory #14
- After interacting with Tanabe-kun, choose the option to deliver the letter - Deliver the love letter. If you've interacted with the right character, a cut-scene depicting the meeting between him and Hitomi will take place.
- The reward for completing this Substory is an Accessory - Courage Pendant. When equipped, it can protect a hero from Fear status.
