Completing the main story of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth doesn't mean you have to finish playing the game. This is possible with Premium Adventure, a free roam/endgame mode. On this page of our guide, we show how to unlock it, what are its main characteristics, and what elements are transferred from the campaign save to the endgame.
The page doesn't contain any story spoilers. We tried to describe Premium Adventure without revealing any details of the ending.
Is the Premium Adventure mode free of charge?
- In Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, similarly to older installments of the Yakuza series, there is the Premium Adventure option which can be compared to a free roam mode available after completing the main campaign.
- After completing the main story, you can create a manual save game and then continue playing in Premium Adventure based on it. This will allow you to complete remaining activities and quests, continue developing the party, or unlock elements that you may have missed when playing on the campaign save.
- Instead of Premium Adventure, you can additionally try the NG+ mode, which means starting the campaign anew. Important information here is that NG+ mode is not free to every owner of the game. To learn more about it, visit NG+ Mode page of our guide.
The most important assumptions of endgame
- Premium Adventure reverts some of the changes that ensued in the very finale of the story. This means that you have access to all the heroes that joined your party throughout the game.
- Additionally, in Premium Adventure, there aren't any restrictions as to the team composition. Moreover, you can fast travel at will between 3 main cities (Honolulu, Yokohama, Kamurocho) and change the time of the day (this is described in more detail in the FAQ chapter). To travel between Hawaii and Japan, visit the first floor of Revolve Bar in Honolulu or the first floor of Survive Bar in Yokohama. Both of these locations also offer the Change Protagonist option.
- In Premium Adventure, all activities or minigames are fully available. You can resume doing all actions you have done before embarking to the final showdown. This means Substories, major activities (Sujimon, Dondoko Island etc.), Bonds and Drink Links, or Bucket List as Kiryu.
- Heroes retain their experience, money, and equipment they had from right before the ending. You can continue developing them, e.g. to attempt high-level dungeons.
- Additionally, in Premium Adventure, the outfits of the heroes that only changed their appearance in combat (Costumes), are now visible during free exploration. You can change Costumes in changing rooms in Alo-Happy Tours venues. Finally, you receive a few new outfits as a reward for completing the story (for Ichiban and Kiryu).
- In Premium Adventure , all districts have the highest threat level , i.e. 10 stars. Expect to encounter regular level 50 enemies . This means that (at least until the team is developed) you can't rely on Smackdown for quick automatic resolving of battles.
