Infinite Wealth: Is there a point of no return? Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth guide, tips
Before you advance to the final game of Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth, you may be looking for a point of no return. In this guide we explain whether the so-called point of no return appears and when you can freely explore the maps of Honolulu, Yokohama and Kamurocho for the last time.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth features an incredibly lengthy and extensive final campaign chapter. Before you fully focus on completing the final, you can search for information about the point of no return. From this guide, you'll find out to what point in the game the main characters can freely travel around the city, and if unfinished activities will be lost.
The page contains minor spoilers about reaching 2 points of no return in the final stage of the campaign. We don't disclose any information about the locations of the final scenes for the Honolulu and Yokohama storylines, nor what the main ending of the story mode looks like.
Point of no return for Honolulu
- In the case of Ichiban and the Hawaii map, the point of no return will trigger shortly after the start of the Finale. You'll participate in several meetings at the Homeless Camp in Yokohama, and the Ichibana team will go back to Honolulu.
- Going to the docks located in the southwest part of Honolulu is the point of no return. Until then, you can still freely explore the map of Honolulu. The game also allows you to change the time of day - we have provided a more detailed explanation of this mechanic on a separate page.
- The game's notification may be misleading because there's no requirement to finish all pending activities, such as Substories, collectibles, Drink Links meetings, or major optional activities like Dondoko Island. After you advance to the final, you must first finish the game (the storylines of both main characters). At that time, the game will unlock Premium Adventure mode, which will allow you to resume all optional activities. So, there's no risk of something being lost forever.
We provide a more detailed description of the Premium Adventure mode on a separate page of our guide.
Point of no return for Yokohama and Kamurocho
- In the case of Kiryu and the Isezaki Ijincho and Kamurocho maps, the point of no return will be triggered after completing the Ichiban storyline in the Final. You will once again be on the map of Yokohama.
- The point of no return is a conversation with the NPC next to the Homeless Camp in the southern part of Isezaki Ijincho. Until that moment, you can still freely explore Yokohama and Kamurocho. The game also unlocks the option to change the time of day.
- You don't have to complete all of Kiryu's optional activities at any cost, similar to the point of no return from Honolulu. Once you finish the main storyline, you can still access them in Premium Adventure mode and resume from where you left off.
