Hogwarts Legacy contains a vast world and this page of the guide can tell you if it is possible to swim while traversing the Highlands. Besides, we answer the question whether there is a free diving option in the game and explain whether you can fish out sunken treasures.
Swimming
Hogwarts Legacy allows you to swim without limits - this happens as soon as you jump into the water and your character doesn't need to learn to swim. There is also no stamina bar while swimming and you don't have to worry about running out of strength. You can also explore larger bodies of water without any problems.
Diving and loot
Unfortunately, Hogwarts Legacy doesn't allow you to dive freely, i.e. you can't go underwater in any chosen place, even if it's a deep reservoir.
Your character can only dive near small whirlpools - an example is shown in the picture. It can be practical, because you can fish out random loot that you can then equip or sell. In some cases, diving is also used to fish out quest items.
