Demon's Souls Remake: Illusory walls - how do they work? Demons Souls PS5 guide, walkthrough
Last update: 29 September 2021
This page of the Demon's Souls Remake game guide explains what illusory walls are, how to activate them, and how can they benefit you.
Illusory walls exist in Demon's Souls Remake. These are walls, which are initially supposed to indicate to the player that they cannot progress further, however, this is only a false impression. If you're certain that you're heading in the right direction in a given location and there is, for example, a wall in front of you instead of a path, it is most likely an illusory wall.
At the very beginning, it is difficult to distinguish which wall is real and which is illusory. Usually, thes wall looks a little different from the one it's adjacent to. If you play online, you can also read the messages of other players who will suggest to you that the wall is not real. It's worth discovering such walls, because they usually conceal another path or some sort of reward.
To destroy an illusory wall, you must attack it or dodge towards the wall. If it's fake, then it will simply disappear once you touch or attack it. If your attack bounces off, then it's most likely an ordinary wall with nothing hidden behind it.
