Quit Tickling! Trophy in Dead Cells Dead Cells Guide

This page describes the requirements and the way to unlock the Quit Tickling! achievement in Dead Cells. It's a bronze trophy, which is awarded for finding and absorbing the Vine Rune. Taking possession of this rune unlocks the option of using vines, which allows your character to reach some previously inaccessible areas and locations.

Where do I find the Vine Rune in Dead Cells?

This rune is owned by an elite opponent who can be found in the Promenade of the Condemned, the first one you arrives at after leaving the Prisoners' Quarters starting area.

While exploring the Promenade of the Condemned, look for the lair of an elite monster, as shown in the picture above; in our case it was located in a small separate area entered through an open door.

Next thing you'll need to do is to defeat a random elite monster that will drop some loot. The items left behind will include an Unknown Artifact (shown in the picture above), which is exactly the sought-after Vine Rune.

From now on, you can look for places to use the new rune, with an example marked by red circle in picture 1. When you press the interaction button, vines will appear and you can reach higher shelves, which were previously unavailable (seen in picture 2).

The vines not only lead to areas with new treasures, but also unlock the option to explore the new location - Toxic Sewers, the passage to which can be found in the Prisoners' Quarters.
