In order to lift a Curse, the main protagonist has to slay a given number of enemies without sustaining any damage. You cannot be hit by any opponent nor can you fall into any environmental traps (poisonous gas, spikes, etc.). Otherwise, the main protagonist will die prematurely and, upon starting a new game, you will have to look for a new opportunity to become cursed.

Below, you can find additional tips on how to deal with a curse:

  1. Make sure to look around a lot (right analog stick) to prevent getting suddenly amidst a lot of monsters.
  2. Should you be attacked by surprise by a monster (e.g. by Scorpio from the sewers), run.
  3. Always look for the weakest enemies without any unique abilities in the area.
  4. Rely on traps, grenades and ranged weapons. Ranged combat is much safer. When engaging in melee combat it is easy to sustain damage even from a weak enemy.
