Clock Room level in Dead Cell Dead Cells Guide

Last update: 28 August 2018

The following chapter includes information on the Clock Room. Here, you can learn more about this location, threats and enemies that you can come across, see where you can go from here and what requirements you have to fulfill in order to do that.

Characteristics of the location

The Clock Room can be explored during your first few playthroughs - Clock Room level in Dead Cell - Game world - Dead Cells Game Guide

The Clock Room can be explored during your first few playthroughs. You can get there from the Clock Tower. Later, you will also unlock the entrance in Forgotten Sepulcher - this location requires a Teleportation Rune.

There is only one reason for you to visit this place - to defeat the second main boss, The Time Keeper. The doors on the left and on the right will remain closed throughout the entire fight.

After defeating The Time Keeper, you can go to a safe zone that differs from other areas. One of the main differences is the legendary forge. Here, you can spend your Cells on buying unique permanent upgrades, e.g. increased chance to find high quality gear in the game's world. Legendary forges can only be found after defeating bosses. Using them isn't mandatory. You can save your Cells for a "regular" blacksmith.

Enemies and other threats

The only enemy in the Clock Room is The Time Keeper, one of the bosses. The detailed description of this unique enemy can be found on the Bosses page.

Subsequent locations

There is only one exit in Clock Room (on the right from the arena where you fought with The Time Keeper) which leads to High Peak Castle. This is the last location before you meet the final boss.
