One of the bosses appearing in the final phase of the campaign of Stellar Blade is Unidentified Naytiba, faced in Presence Chamber in the city of Xion. On this page of our guide, we explain how to avoid attacks of the boss, including new insta-kill ones, and how to successfully weaken the elite Naytiba.
Reaching the battle location
- This elite enemy appeared for the first time in the prologue, but at that moment, you couldn't face him and EVE barely escaped with her life. A fully-fledged battle against Unidentified Naytiba will take place after returning to Xion from Needle 4. At the moment of return, a new story quest will be initiated - Burning Xion.
- The boss can be found in Presence Chamber, and before venturing inside it, we recommend replenishing supplies and resting at a camp.
Fight in Presence Chamber in Xion
- The boss is equipped with two blades that he uses to inflict normal and red attacks. Try to parry as many of them as you can. Be ready to instant parry even if the boss is away from EVE. Naytiba can suddenly close the distance and start attacking.
- Unidentified Naytiba can teleport. It is best to lock the camera on him, as this will lower the risk of losing sight of the boss and being attacked from a side or back.
- The boss uses a variety of yellow attacks. These may include a hive throw, appearance of black circles on the ground, or a quick aerial leap. Remember to maintain a safe distance and try to Perfect Dodge incoming attacks.
- You shouldn't be surprised that Naytiba can fire blue attacks (wait for the right moment for Blink) and purple attacks (this time to counter you need to perform a Repulse).
- At some point of the battle, the game will display a tutorial warning you of attacks that when landed, kill EVE instantly - this will happen if you don't react in time. You are warned about them by a red exclamation mark.
- Use a ranged weapon and fire at levitating yellow orbs.
- While firing, remember to watch out for other attacks of the boss. Unidentified Naytiba can, e.g. fire projectiles at you or release vertical streams of energy. Dodging is recommended here.
- Return to melee combat only after all yellow orbs are destroyed. After that happens, the boss will be inactive for a moment and this is a good opportunity to fire a strong attack.
- When the boss is hurt enough, only thing to do is to complete the QTE - be ready to press L1.
