Tachy - Alpha Naytiba is the most important boss of the Matrix 11 region in Stellar Blade. This page of the guide describes 2 phases of the fight with this strong boss encountered during the Alpha Signal mission. We have compiled the attacks used by Tachy, and you will also learn what to do during the battle in the Contaminated Water Purification Plant.
How to get to the boss?
- In the final part of Matrix 11, you will reach the Contaminated Water Purification Plant. The path shown in the picture leads to the place where you will face the main boss of this location.
- Before entering this area, you will find a supply camp, where you should stock up on medicines.
- At the beginning of the fight, you will find out that Tachy is the Alpha Naytiba you are looking for - you have to defeat the former ally.
First phase of the boss fight
- Tachy's regular attacks involve swinging her melee weapon - it can be a single attack or a series of attacks. Try to parry them.
- Tachy can also perform a strong thrust, which is more difficult to parry. A block will be a better idea.
- Besides regular attacks, you should also use Beta skills, firearm and Burst.
- At some point, Tachy will spread her wing and start attacking with it. This attack has wide range, so instead of getting out of its range, focus on proper parrying.
- The boss's yellow attack is releasing energy waves. There can be several waves in a series. You can do perfect dodges or start running sideways in advance.
- Tachy's red attack is a strong spin attack, which can also reduce her distance to Eve. It is safer to block it.
Second phase of the boss fight
- The next phase of the fight starts when Tachy grabs Eve. This is not a QTE sequence - wait until the heroine is dropped to a lower level.
- Tachy will remove her helmet and will now have a tentacle replacing the missing wing.
- Tachy can now teleport to reach Eve immediately. Tachy can also use a yellow attack where she teleports and then hits the ground. Be prepared for a block or dodge.
The boss's red attack is now a series of 4 quick swings, ending with an aerial attack. Again, it is safer to block, although successful parrying can easily knock Tachy off balance.
Tachy can also use:
- blue attack - activate Blink (Up + Circle) to teleport behind the opponent;
- purple attack - activate Repulse (Down + Circle) to avoid damage and counterattack.
- After depleting the boss's health, press Triangle to finish the fight. Eve will cut off Tachy's wings and tentacles.
- After the fight, you will get (e.g. gear, weapon core, crafting materials) and immediately return to Xion. Fortunately, you can return to Matrix 11 later in the game.
Soon, you will also unlock Tachy's skill tree related to her blade - we discussed this in more detail on the How to unlock hidden skill trees? page.
