Is Stellar Blade a long game? On this page of our guide, you'll find a comprehensive answer to this question - we explain how long it takes to complete the main storyline, and how additional activities which include exploration of maps, completing optional quests, or hunting for collectibles prolong this time. All of the above are major steps towards achieving 100% completion of Stellar Blade.

Main story, endings and NG+

1 - Stellar Blade: Game length - Appendix - Stellar Blade Guide
  1. The approximate time needed to complete the main story is around 30 hours. This estimate assumes that an attempt to beat the game was made with a normal difficulty level chosen. Lowering the difficulty can make defeating story bosses much more easier and less time-consuming.
  2. There are 3 endings to the story and unfortunately, you cannot experience all of them during a single playthrough. For the purpose of watching all endings, you're going to need to engage in New Game Plus mode and complete the campaign anew. During new playthroughs try to do things differently in order to achieve remaining endings. Fortunately, NG+ doesn't present a spike in difficulty and allows keeping all progress in regards to character progression.

Exploring maps, collectibles, and side quests

2 - Stellar Blade: Game length - Appendix - Stellar Blade Guide
  1. In Stellar Blade, aside from smaller worlds and locations, there are 3 main free-roam regions - the city of Xion, Wasteland, and Great Desert. Exploring the last two is quite time-consuming, as they are spacious and contain a multitude of hidden areas. When it comes to smaller locations, there are 6 such regions here and each of them also hides various secrets.
  2. Among the collectibles in the game, we have costumes for EVE, Cores, Passcodes, Cans, and Exospines. Many of these secrets have some practical application and can, for example, improve the heroine's statistics or provide bonuses, e.g. to attack power/attack speed. Additionally, the game has dozens of available side quests, each taking, on average, from several to several dozen minutes. Finally, there is a fishing mini-game in Stellar Blade - there is a chance you'll need to spend extended amounts of time to catch all possible specimens of fish.
  3. All in all, the additional content may lengthen the experience to 50 or more hours. When it comes to achievements, the good news here is that most trophies can be obtained in the course of a normal playthrough and only a few of them are complicated enough to require performing specific actions or going out of your way. Unlocking the platinum trophy in Stellar Blade isn't that demanding.
