Nation description - Arabian
Name | Effect |
The Last Prophet | You automatically receive a Great Prophet if the second-to-last one is chosen and you had none before. +1 to science for each city that believes in Arabia's religion. |
An interesting bonus that you can get when you are the last player that begins participating in Great Prophet race. Of course, in this situation you don't have to do nothing and you will get the best possible bonus. You should only remember to not get any of the prophets before that or this bonus will be cancelled. Thanks to that you can focus on developing other disciplines other than religion because you can, in a blink of an eye, become equal to other players. Additionally, if you spread your religion then for each city you get additional science bonus. It is not much but as the game goes on this bonus can become bigger.
Name | Effect |
Righteousness of the Faith | Worship buildings for other players costs 10% less faith. A building provides 10% to science, faith and culture in Arabian cities. |
In this case it is hard to give an advice because this bonus is only given when other player decides to build a particular improvement which doesn't give any profits and is only important from strategic point of view, having a good diplomatic relation with Arabia. What is worth noting is that only one improvement is needed in order to get this bonus so if you have a good diplomatic relation with one of the nations, you have a greater chance to get this bonus.
Summary
Without a doubt, there are two types of victory that are dedicated to Arabia: science and religion. From the very beginning focus on science and when you reach the limit you can begin spreading your faith. Allow other players to get ahead of you a get Great Prophets so you can get a compensation. Do not neglect your army and have your cities well fortified. If you have a good relation with your neighbors you can develop both science and religion at the same time but remember that some civics require the use of army.
