This page contains walkthroughs for side quests in Seven: The Days Long Gone that can be unlocked during your exploration of the fourth zone of Peh island. These terrains are available for those who own a visa 04. Warden's Hold, the biggest city in the game, is inside this zone. There, you can unlock a lot of quests, the same goes for other parts of this zone.

A Wanted Man

How to unlock: Find a wanted letter in bandits' corpses or speak with Drax in junkyard.

This quest can start in an unusual way. During your journey, Teriel can be attacked by a group of bandits. Defeat them and search their corpses. One of them carries a Wanted Letter. You can come across bandits, e.g.:

  1. When you are on your way from Lewmer to the security checkpoint 03, near the arena (the picture above)
  2. In Warden's Hold, near Blackwood Manor

You learn from the letter that Drax wants to capture Teriel alive. His house is in zone 4 (the picture above). There is a path near the security checkpoint 04 that leads north. Follow it until you reach the junkyard. Meet with Drax if you still didn't come across bandits, the quest will start during that conversation.

Drax explains his motivation and offers Teriel a job. You can:

  1. Accept his request to steal the key from the Maze. Start completing the objectives described below.
  2. Refuse and leave. The quest won't disappear from your journal. You can always change your mind. You will start encountering bandits with wanted letters.
  3. Refuse and attack Drax. He leaves the building and you get trapped by Vaetic (more details in the description of the later parts of the quest).

The Maze's exit is located in zone 7. The access to that zone is protected by laser barriers. This problem can be solved by getting an Excavation Worker outfit or by jumping on small stone ledges located near the security checkpoint. The picture above shows the entrance to the Maze (it is located near to the blue circle on the map, south-east from it). Get there and listen to a short conversation with Artanak.

The Maze is full of traps and only one path leads to your goal. Jump over the tank with a blue substance. You should also watch out for moving blocks, flames that appear one after another and a purple gas (move forward in the right moment). You will also have to climb a little bit. The Shadow Key is in the container presented in the picture (use Sense Mode to find it).

Pick up the key. This causes the Maze to start collapsing. Head in the opposite direction and avoid traps again (perform rolls in the corridor with gas). The chasm with the blue substance can be avoided by catching the rope.

Go back to Drax and give him the Shadow Key. The main hero is caught in Vaetic's trap (this also happens when you decide to attack Drax during your first meeting in the junkyard).

Teriel is now in an arena with a giant crab. Attack the enemy if your hero is well-equipped (remember to move away from the enemy if you need healing). Otherwise, you have to quickly reach the terminal presented in the picture. You should activate invisibility first and then start the hacking mini-game. Complete it and unlock the exit from the arena. Regardless of how you behaved, you can now complete two new quests:

  1. Judge, Jury and Executioner - find Drax
  2. Very Old Friends - find Vaetic

How to unlock: Complete A Wanted Man side quest.

During this quest you have to track Drax who betrayed Teriel during A Wanted Man quest - Quests in zone 4 (Visa 04) | Walkthrough - Side Quests - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

During this quest you have to track Drax who betrayed Teriel during A Wanted Man quest. He can be found on the farm in the zone 2 (see the picture above). That farm is located in the west edge of that zone, south-west from the arena (the Birdcage).

Drax is inside the building. You can:

  1. Attack Drax immediately and kill him.
  2. Start a conversation and kill Drax after listening to his explanation.
  3. Spare Drax. Thanks to that you learn where Vaetic's hideout is (Very Old Friends quest).

Note - Decoy Grenade Schematic is inside Drax's house.

How to unlock: Complete A Wanted Man side quest.

The goal of this quest is to find Vaetic - he is responsible for imprisoning and sending Teriel to death in A Wanted Man quest - Quests in zone 4 (Visa 04) | Walkthrough - Side Quests - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

The goal of this quest is to find Vaetic - he is responsible for imprisoning and sending Teriel to death in A Wanted Man quest. Vaetic hides in the east part of Everglade Swamps (the zone 3). The picture above shows the exact location of his hideout. That place is in the east end of the swamps (north-east from The Sozzled Mosquito).

Save your game before you get closer to Vaetic's hideout - he knows that you are coming. Start getting closer to the ruins and avoid two types of ranged attacks - a mortar and a sniper rifle (watch out for a red laser). Keep moving and use rolls.

That is not all because the ruins are surrounded by MULTIPLE fire traps. Don't waste your time on disarming them because you can still be attacked by Vaetic. Try to find them in Sense Mode and avoid - activate one of the traps and Teriel will be set on fire (this makes you lose a lot of health really fast). You should also look for a chance to leave the main path that leads to the top of the ruins (example in the picture). Thanks to that you won't have to avoid the mines.

Vaetic is on top of the small ruins (see the picture). You can backstab Vaetic, provided that he didn't notice you. Luckily for you, he isn't a challenging enemy.

Win the fight and choose his fate:

  1. Tell Vaetic your version of the events and leave him in peace.
  2. Finish Vaetic off. His corpse contains, e.g. Vaetic's Sniper Rifle.

Forged in the Crucible

How to unlock: Speak with the Crucible Arena Keeper in the Warden's Hold.

The Crucible is a huge arena located in the Wardens Hold - Quests in zone 4 (Visa 04) | Walkthrough - Side Quests - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

The Crucible is a huge arena located in the Warden's Hold. Speak with the Crucible Arena Keeper if you want to participate in fights. He can give you a permission only when you got Graith's invitation. You can get it after winning two fights in the Birdcage or by pickpocketing Graith during The Birdcage side quest (the zone 2). Show the invitation. Below, you can find important information about the Crucible:

  1. Equip your hero with good weapons, pieces of armor and a lot of medicaments (preferably syringes) before you start fighting on the arena. The Crucible fights are much more challenging than those in the Birdcage.
  2. The Crucible has two types of fights: standard ones and championship (only this one unlocks new types of fights).
  3. Thyra approaches you after winning two fights. This gives you a chance to start a side quest called The Only Way Out.
  4. Win four fights and get a chance to challenge Thyra, the current champion. Defeat her and receive the title of the Crucible's champion which also completes the aforementioned quest.

The Only Way Out

How to unlock: Speak with Thyra after winning two fights in the Crucible in the Warden's Hold.

Master Thyra will interact with Teriel after he wins the second fight in the Crucible (Forged in the Crucible side quest). Meet with her again near the specified warehouse in zone 04 in the city. Enter the warehouse by using a lockpick or by going through the skylight in the roof. A large group of enemies can be found in the warehouse. You can either attack them, avoid any contact (don't let the cameras see Teriel as well), put on the outfit of one of them or let Thyra inside the warehouse so that she can aid Teriel in combat. Ultimately, Thyra needs to get inside the warehouse and find the load stored inside.

Return near the Crucible to speak with Thyra again. You will deduce that she plans to use the stolen poison to fake her own death. If you agree to her proposal, you will need to use a poisoned blade during the encounter on the arena to defeat her. Afterwards, the action will move to the morgue. You must now administer an antidote to revive her or you can leave Thyra dead. Thyra can also permanently die if you use one of the regular weapons during the encounter on the arena.

Possession With Intent

How to unlock: Speak with Threston in Port Terminus.

This quest can be unlocked after speaking to a merchant called Threston - Quests in zone 4 (Visa 04) | Walkthrough - Side Quests - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

This quest can be unlocked after speaking to a merchant called Threston. You can find him in Port Terminus located in the Warden's Hold. You learn about problems with his cargo. Head to Port Horizon next to Lewmer. The best way to get inside that location is to wear a Technomagi soldier armor. Thanks to that you can move freely around the entire port. If you don't have it, you can sneak into the main warehouse by going through one of the skylights in its rooftop.

You have to reach the control room. It is located on the upper floor, in one of the corners (the picture above shows that place). Climb the stairs and walk on the balconies. However, if you need to use stealth then you should sneak on the metal elements right under the ceiling. Wait until the guard moves somewhere else and enter the control room. You have to hack into the big computer. Watch the short cut-scene and go back to the quest giver. You receive 100 auryte and Stun Dart Schematic.

What a Pair

How to unlock: Speak with Leutian in the Warden's Hold.

Leutian can be found in the Wardens Holds marketplace - Quests in zone 4 (Visa 04) | Walkthrough - Side Quests - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

Leutian can be found in the Warden's Hold's marketplace. He has an unusual request - bring him pairs of socks. You have to bring him 20 pairs to complete this quest. These items can be found in the world (example in the picture) - usually, they are inside wardrobes, drawers and chests. You can also buy them from other merchants.

He gives you auryte for each pair that you bring him. After delivering 20 pairs Leutian will ask Teriel to sneak into Esmelda's room (Blackwood Manor). Eliminate one of the Blackwood guards to get their outfit and avoid any problems. The room is located on the highest floor. Esmelda can't die which means that you have to use stealth if you don't own a proper disguise. Leave the letter that you got from Leutian - place it in Esmelda's pocket (use pickpocketing) or into one of the interactive containers. Go back to the marketplace and find another letter with auryte (the items are in the place where Leutian stood before). The quest ends when you read the letter addressed to Teriel.

For Whom the Disc Tells

How to unlock: Speak with Wave Witch near her home in the Warden's Hold.

Wave Witchs house is located in the north-east part of the Wardens Hold (see the picture) - Quests in zone 4 (Visa 04) | Walkthrough - Side Quests - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

Wave Witch's house is located in the north-east part of the Warden's Hold (see the picture). You have to pay her 40 auryte for a prediction. Teriel receives a Fortune Disc and is ordered to go to the excavation site in the zone 7.

Before you go there, you need to get a visa level 6. Also, only workers can access the excavation site. You can solve this problem by buying an Excavation Worker outfit in the shop nearby or you can stealth kill one of the workers and steal his clothes. There is also a third option - sneaking into the excavation site by going there from the security checkpoint 07. Remember to avoid Technomagi soldiers (even if you have a Technomagi soldier outfit).

Your goal is to reach excavation site block C (you can determine Pylas location by yourself or you can speak with Seok, one of the workers) - Quests in zone 4 (Visa 04) | Walkthrough - Side Quests - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

Your goal is to reach excavation site block C (you can determine Pyla's location by yourself or you can speak with Seok, one of the workers). This block is located on the lower floor, in the center of the excavation site. Pyla is imprisoned in the vault presented in the picture - speak with her. Hack into the terminal on the wall and open the vault (activate Sense Mode and follow the cable).

Shortly after that you will encounter three hostile workers. Kill them by attacking the enemies one after another. Also, you should avoid getting closer to the stairs that lead on the upper level (you will alarm Technomagi soldiers). After that you can search the workers' corpses and find Sold Artefact Receipt. You can show this note to Pyla or you can keep its content to yourself. There is an optional thing to do here - you can search for the red flag from the note and find 450 auryte. Take the receipt to the Wave Witch. Listen to her another prediction and receive a new Fortune Disc. This unlocks a new side quest called Light Of The Firefly.

Light Of The Firefly

How to unlock: Automatically after completing For Whom The Disc Tells side quest.

You have to meet with Lady Firefly in her office located in the Wardens Hold - Quests in zone 4 (Visa 04) | Walkthrough - Side Quests - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

You have to meet with Lady Firefly in her office located in the Warden's Hold. Her office is located on the highest floor in the area marked by the blue circle on the map. Show the guard your disk that you got from the Witch.

After watching the cut-scene and listening to the conversation you have to search for an abandoned workshop in Everglade Swamps. These lands are roamed by spiders and other monsters but you don't have to kill all of them. Search the generator's control panel (see the picture). You learn that you have to bring power back to the workshop.

Activate Sense Mode and follow the thickest cable. It leads to a device that, sadly, is inside of a bandits' camp. You can attack them or use invisibility. Check out the condenser. To fix it, Teriel needs 2 sets of Servomotors and Transistors and 1 Duct Tape. These items are rather common. You can find them in the world or, e.g. buy from the merchant near Our Savior's Temple and the security checkpoint 07.

Collect the parts, go back to the device and fix it. Go to the abandoned workshop once more. Interact with the generator's panel and complete a hacking mini-game. You have to look for more panels similar to this one - activate Sense Mode and follow the thinner cables. Complete all mini-games and bring power back. Lastly, activate Sense Mode again, find Light Sculpture (you can find it in the place where the cables come together) and take it. Go back to Lady Firefly. This unlocks another side quest - Lady's Plus One.

Ladys Plus One

How to unlock: Automatically after completing Light Of The Firefly side quest.

This quest starts right after you bring the sculpture to Lady Firefly - Quests in zone 4 (Visa 04) | Walkthrough - Side Quests - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

This quest starts right after you bring the sculpture to Lady Firefly. Listen to her plan, leave her office and speak with Wave Witch. She offers you an alternate way to complete this quest. However, you have to make it at the end of the quest.

During this quest you have to go to a party but BEFORE you go there, Teriel needs to wear an elegant set. Parts of it can be found during exploration or, e.g. by visiting the tailor in the Warden's Hold (see the picture). Teriel needs to wear four elements of the elegant "set". Three of them are fixed - a hat, trousers and shoes. When it comes to the fourth element, you can choose from a few available options (e.g. an attire or a coat).

Equip the set and head to Du Motiers mansion located in the city - Quests in zone 4 (Visa 04) | Walkthrough - Side Quests - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

Equip the set and head to Du Motier's mansion located in the city. Save your game because you lose all your equipment when you get inside. Find Lady Firefly in the garden and speak with her. Listen to her instructions. You can fulfill her plan immediately or you can complete two small side quests first - Hide and Seek and Fisticuffs.

Teriel's task is to steal an artefact kept in the basement. You have to find a way to get inside the building. The picture shows two recommended places where you can start your infiltration - you can use a lockpick on the basement's northern door (do that when no one is looking at Teriel!) or reach the small west balcony and go through the window (you will also have to use the stairs that lead to the basement).

You have to go through the entire basement. Teriel doesn't have any weapons so avoid being detected. Invisibility is very useful here. Use this ability to avoid guards and other people who can raise the alarm.

Reach the closed door and hack into the nearby terminal. This allows you to unlock the basement's main room. Avoid new enemies and the camera. Reach the terminal presented in the picture. Complete a hacking mini-game, activate invisibility and get closer to the artefact. This triggers a cut-scene.

You now have to leave the property. The area is patrolled by alarmed guards. Again, rely on invisibility while you are going through the basement and leave the building. The main entrance is guarded. Reach the tower located in the south-west corner of the garden (enemies can attack you upon detecting Teriel - the elegant set doesn't "protect" you anymore!). Climb up, reach the terminal and hack into it. Complete a hacking mini-game and use the rope presented in the picture. Use it to slide down. Don't forget to collect Teriel's weapons from the chest.

You now have to decide how you want to end this quest. The artefact can be handled over to Wave Witch or Lady Firefly. Both variants give you 1000 auryte. You can also watch a cut-scene during which someone will get their mind manipulated (it can be either the Witch or Lady Firefly).

Hide and Seek

How to unlock: Speak with Cremmel in Du Motier's property during Lady's Plus One side quest.

This short side quest can be unlocked during infiltration of Du Mortiers property which is one of the goals of Ladys Plus One side quest - Quests in zone 4 (Visa 04) | Walkthrough - Side Quests - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

This short side quest can be unlocked during infiltration of Du Mortier's property which is one of the goals of Lady's Plus One side quest. Find Cremmel in the garden (one of the yellow quest icons) and agree to play hide and seek with him.

Teriel needs to find five people:

  1. Bey hides in bushes in the garden next to one of the statues.
  2. Cremmel hides on the rooftop.
  3. Dreyfuss is inside the eastern tower.
  4. Lissa stands near the mirrors on the dance floor.
  5. Sormel runs between the bushes in the garden.

Find them all and go back to Cremmel to complete this quest.

Fisticuffs

How to unlock: Speak with the rich man in Du Motier's property during Lady's Plus One side quest.

This short side quest can be unlocked during infiltration of Du Mortiers property which is one of the goals of Ladys Plus One side quest - Quests in zone 4 (Visa 04) | Walkthrough - Side Quests - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

This short side quest can be unlocked during infiltration of Du Mortier's property which is one of the goals of Lady's Plus One side quest. Find the rich man who stands in the garden (one of the yellow quest icons) and speak with him about a brawl. You can:

  1. Bet 65 auryte on one of the brawling men. Saving the game before you do that is a good idea because the winner is picked randomly. If you bet on the right person, you will get auryte (2x more than what you bet). If you bet on a loser then you will lose a little bit of your auryte.
  2. Replace Baxter in the fight. You have to beat Fellohugh. Win and you will receive auryte. After that you can meet with Baxter.

Cinder Man

How to unlock: Speak with the guard in the Warden's Hold.

The Biomancer temple can be found in the southern part of the city. You can listen to the priest's speech and speak with the guard. He won't let Teriel inside - you must sneak your way in. Climb up the balconies located outside of the building. You can eliminate the lone biomancer guarding the area or sneak past him. Reach a small hole and go through it.

Stand behind the curtain (as shown on the screenshot) and listen to the conversation about the serial killer known as Cinder Man. You can now either leave the temple, or speak with the priest about the Cinder Man and the reward for finding him.

You must now investigate the first crime scene. This is a restricted area, but you can sneak inside. Reach the roof of the building and use the back entrance. You have to start sneaking here to prevent the technomagi and biomants from detecting you. Take a position from where you can safely eavesdrop on the conversation.

Once the conversation is over, hide in the garbage. Two biomants should remain in the building. Don't attack them, as it might attract attention of additional enemies. It's best to sneak past them and use invisibility to prevent the enemies from locating you. Use the detection mode to find potential traces. You don't have to examine all of them - you only need to check the corpse shown in the above screenshot. Once you're done, leave the crime scene.

You must now visit the bar where the technomagi organize a birthday party. Only members of this faction have the right to enter, which is why you must acquire any technomagi outfit. Speak with Ganler who celebrates his birthday. He won't be talkative at first. Order some drinks (each one costs 4 auryte) for him and you will learn about an older crime scene. It would be a good idea to visit it immediately, although it's an optional step (skipping it will lock one of the endings of the quest). There is a group of homeless people located there, but you don't have to fight them. Focus on examining the human sculpture shown in the picture.

Return to the bar and speak with Ganler again. Have a drink with him a few times (each order costs 8 auryte). Thanks to that you will acquire new information and will learn about the latest crime scene. The new crime scene can be found in the Fellohugh estate, which is a closed zone. You can either sneak your way in, kill the guards or loot the corpse of one of them and put on a disguise. The bedroom located on one of the upper floors of the building is the crime scene you're looking for. Use the detection mode to find a blood strain and examine it. You can also look for the victim's journal here.

Starting from this moment, you will see purple technomore particles while in the detection mode. You must now follow them, as they will lead you to the Cinder Man's hideout. Always start by looking for new particles from the blue circle on the map, as only then the circle will change its position, informing you about the location of the next ones.

Cinder Man's hideout can be seen in the above picture. It's a residential building located not too far west of the recently examined crime scene. You can get inside through the window or by opening the door. Approach the Cinder Man and decide how you want to finish this quest:

  1. An immediate return to the biomant's priest. Do not approach the Cinder Man and just go back to the biomant's priest. Tell him that you've identified and found the serial killer. You will be given 50 auryte, Rune Y and 2 Nectar Vials.
  2. Meeting with the Cinder Man and attacking him. You can provoke the encounter during the conversation with the Cinder Man, or it will begin automatically if you haven't examined the optional older crime scene. The Cinder Man is not a difficult opponent.
  3. Meeting with the Cinder Man and persuading him to stop the experiments. This option is available only if you've visited the older crime scene and you haven't chosen any dialog option that will provoke the man to attack you. The man will escape the lab and you should too as well, as a group of technomagi will soon appear in the building (they will attack Teriel if he is detected). The Cinder Man will give you 50 auryte, Rune Y and 2 Nectar Vials.

Petals and Promises

How to unlock: Speak with Abel on the farm near the security checkpoint 04.

The farm can be found not to far west of the security checkpoint 04 - Quests in zone 4 (Visa 04) | Walkthrough - Side Quests - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

The farm can be found not to far west of the security checkpoint 04. Abel will ask Teriel to help him find his daughter. You must start by checking the farm. There are numerous traces here - use detection mode to find them. You don't have to locate all of them, just enough to discover Ilsa's trail. The available traces are: letter and flowers in Ilsa's room on the upper floor, a crop field, a medallion and a shovel near one of the trees and a letter hidden in the closed storeroom (you need to use lockpicks to get inside).

Thanks to the collected traces you will learn about a flower seller called Fenie that can be found in the city of Warden's Hold. The man can be found in the place shown in the above screenshot. Save the game before approaching the man, as the quest offers multiple options to choose from.

A conversation with the man is not recommended, as he wants Ilsa to remain hidden. Asking him too many questions will provoke the man and his guards to attack Teriel. Even if you can win this encounter, the amount of possible solutions to this quest will decrease.

You should look for Ilsa yourself. You can find her without anyone's help or you can get information about her whereabouts from a note taken / stolen from one of Fen's bodyguards. Ilsa is hiding in the basement of Petalyn estate, a large building adjacent to the courtyard where Fen is standing (the eastern side of the blue circle on the map). You can get inside the estate by going through a window or by opening any door with a lockpick, but watch out for the camera and the guards. Locate the stairs leading to the basement (above screenshot) and reach the room where Ilsa is hiding. You can finish the quest in several ways:

  1. Convincing Ilsa during a conversation to return to the farm and to join the biomants. Ilsa will call for help from Fen. If Fen is still alive, he will appear in the room. The Chance to unlock this quest will appear during the completion of the Down the Rabbit Hole main quest. During that quest Teriel must eavesdrop on conversations in various parts of the city. One of those talks concerns plans to plunder an abandoned warehouse in Lewmer. Use pickpocketing on one of the thugs or kill them to acquire the access code. Reach the abandoned warehouse and give the access code to Soldan (he stands on the roof of the building).

You must reach the lowest floor of the building. Unfortunately, the area is full of spiders that you need to kill as you travel through the building. Use the detection mode to locate control panels and be ready to face more groups of spiders. Once the access to the vault is unlocked, Xervia will suddenly murder the remaining members of the gang. Get rid of her and plunder the warehouse on your own.
