How to kill stronger enemies? Seven Game Guide

Teriel, the protagonist of Seven: The Days Long Gone, comes across many challenging enemies. Defeating most of them is optional because the game gives you many opportunities to sneak and avoid enemies. However, if you still want to kill a stronger opponent (e.g. to get their armor and weapons), you can check out the tips below.

Remember about two things before you start hunting:

1. Save your game before you attack your target because it may end in failure and result in Teriel's death or you can get injured badly.
2. Use Sense Mode and move your cursor on the enemy you want to attack - this allows you to see how challenging that opponent is. Low and medium levels shouldn't be a problem to you. High means that you should plan your stealth attack. If the game informs you that a particular enemy is impossible to kill (an example in the picture) then you shouldn't even try because even if you complete all steps perfectly (details below), there is still only a small chance that an attacked enemy will die.

Don't attack stronger enemies without any preparations. Even if you manage to defeat them, Teriel can receive unwanted damage. Stealth attacks are a preferred method here. Remember about the following things:

1. Try to equip your hero with blades because they are the best for stealth attacks (an example in the picture). Weapons from this category can be found in the beginning of the game.
2. Think about equipping Teriel with abilities (e.g. invisibility) and gadgets (e.g. traps and smoke grenades in case when you have to run away) that can help you during attacks.
3. Choose an enemy who stands alone and is away from others. Thanks to that you can avoid a confrontation with a few enemies at the same time. This is especially important when your enemy won't die from a single hit and the entire fight will drag out.
4. Approach your enemy from behind. If your target is a guard who walks from one point to another, wait for him in the most convenient place.

Get behind enemy's back and attack him with your blade. The advantage of this solution is that blades, in default, offer a good bonus to backstab attacks. Enemies, who aren't strong, can die from single attacks. Sadly, stronger opponents can survive which means that you have to react quickly. You can use quick attacks with your blades or search for an opportunity to make a backstab again after the enemy goes up from the ground. Another, alternate, way of dealing with a situation like that is to switch to a weapon more suitable for confrontations.

Of course, you can increase your chances for successful stealth kills by upgrading your weapons. Look for blades of a higher quality that deal more damage. You can also find blueprints for blade upgrades and craft them. An example is presented in the picture (this particular upgrade is a reward for completing "Pulling strings" side quest in Lewmer village) - they can, e.g. increase backstab damage.
