New World: Company/Guild - how to join? New World guide, tips
This page of the New World guide tells you how to join a Company (guild).
Last update: 07 October 2021
Companies in New World are the equivalents of guilds from other games. They are formed within a given faction and bring together groups of players to jointly control regions or participate in wars and invasions. On this page of the guide you will learn how to join a Company and thus gain access to new content.
How to join a Company (guild)?
First of all, we should mention that you can only join a company from your faction. For example, a Marauder can only join a company created by another Marauder. In the game, you will find a list of all the Companies on a given server, but you will only be able to join one of them after receiving an invitation from the Company's creator. This means that you need to report directly to the player who founded the Company - their nickname can be found on the aforementioned list. It's also a good idea to follow the chat in New World, because company governors are often looking for new members.
Once you have received the invitation and accepted it, you will gain access to the Company preview. Here you can find the members list or information about upcoming wars. It's also possible to transfer gold to the Company. With it, the Company governor can garner influence in a given region (providing you with bonuses within the given area) or declare wars.
