Turian Ark: Lost But Not Forgotten | Allies and Relationships Mass Effect: Andromeda Guide
Last update: 01 June 2017
How to unlock: Automatically after receiving an e-mail [Kadara].
Here you can find the walkthrough for Turian Ark: Lost But Not Forgotten quest. This is one of the side quests in Mass Effect: Andromeda game that belongs to the category called "Allies and relationships" and you can unlock it automatically after landing on Kadara. This qurst is connected with Turian Ark and (initially) your goal is to find their Pathfinder - Macen Barro. In the later part of the mission you will visit the Ark itself.
- Unlocking the quest
- Examine the anomaly on Elaaden
- Scan the Stasis Pods and search for the Turian Pathfinder
- Contact with Avitus by using the Tempest's communication system
- Meet with Avitus at the appointed place
- Examine the Natanus
Unlocking the quest
This quest should be automatically added to your journal during your first visit on planet Kadara (Kadara Port to be precise). At the same time the previous quest connected with Turian Ark - Turian Ark: Not Dead Yet - should be completed. You must return to the Tempest and read the new e-mail from Avitus Rix. You learn from it that new wreckage of Natanus Ark were found. This means that you must go on planet Elaaden.
Examine the anomaly on Elaaden
Fly to Elaaden. Go north and search for the anomaly. Your target destination is the desert area with a few vehicles, presented in the picture above. When you get you must attack the bandits immediately.
Scan the Stasis Pods and search for the Turian Pathfinder
The next step must be done after you defeat the enemies. Scan the nearby pods. One of them still has power and must be examined closely - interact with it. The result is not satisfying because inside the pod you will find a dead body (you receive Andromeda Viability Points as a "consolation"). Contnue scanning until you receive new objective.
Contact with Avitus by using the Tempest's communication system
Return to the Tempest and go on the upper level. Use the vidcon and speak with Avitus Rix. He will give you new coordinates and mission objective.
Chapter in progress...
Meet with Avitus at the appointed place
Fly to Remav system. When you get there you should notice Turian Ark Natanus. Get closer to it and scan the Ark in order to find the place to dock. Confirm that you want to start the mission. You move to the Ark's deck (warning - you can't go back to other locations until you end this quest).
Examine the Natanus
When you are inside of the Ark Natanus you must meet with Avitus Rix. Together, you will start exploring the Ark. Reach the closed door and scan them to learn that they need power. Use the console presented in the picture above and direct the power to the closed door. This unlocks the passage.
Warning - During the exploration you can scan other objects and find containers with treasures. However, these actions are optional.
In the next room go to the console and use it, you will listen to the captain's audio log. Move forward. In the next area scan the closed door and repeat the process - use the console to direct the power to the right door. In the next room you can find a console that has a damaged audio log of a Turian Pathfinder.
Move forward. You must unlock the access to the SAM node which means that you must direct the power again. Go inside and speak with SAM of the Turian Ark. During the ending part of this scene you must make the choice - you can convince Avitus Rix to accept the position of a Turian Pathfinder (the right dialog option) or respect his decision and inform Nexus about the Pathfinder's death (the left dialog option). By choosing either of them you return to the Tempest and complete the quest.
Attention - encouraging Avitus to accept the position is one of the actions required to ensure that captain Dunn survives the game's finale - more information on this topic can be found in the description of the Meridian: The Way Home quest. If Avitus Rix refuses, turians will start to look for a new Pioneer.
Rewards for finishing the quest: XP, Andromeda Viability Points.
