Adept | Character profiles Mass Effect: Andromeda Guide
Last update: 11 April 2017
The third in order and the last "pure" profile, beside Soldier and Engineer. This one focuses around the usage of Biotic tree skills, making it perfect for those who are investing skill points in that very tree. It requires 6 / 24 / 54 / 99 / 156 / 232 points invested in Biotic skill tree to unlock 1st / 2nd / 3rd / 4th / 5th / 6th level of this profile.
Below you can find a table showing all of the passive bonuses given to the character when the profile is active, from the first to the sixth level of the Adept profile.
Stat | Level 1 | Level 2 | Level 3 | Level 4 | Level 5 | Level 6 |
Biotic Force | +15% | +20% | +25% | +30% | +35% | +40% |
Biotic Area of Effect Damage | +15% | +20% | +25% | +30% | +35% | +40% |
Biotic Area of Effect Radius | +15% | +20% | +25% | +30% | +35% | +40% |
Biotic Effect Duration | +20% | +25% | +30% | +35% | +40% | +45% |
Biotic Combo Radius | +20% | +25% | +30% | +35% | +40% | +45% |
There are several things worth noting when it comes to the data presented in the table:
- Biotic Force - it doesn't have any impact on the damage dealt by Biotic abilities. However, it increases their force which, for instance, influences the distance the enemy will be thrown after using Throw ability on him.
- Biotic Restoration and Defense - it affects some of the abilities from the Biotic skill tree. "Restoration" influences, for instance, the amount of shield points you will receive after hitting the enemy with Charge ability. "Defense", on the other hand, has impact on the amount of health points your shield generated by the Backlash ability will have.
This profile gives access to two additional abilities. Biotic Echoes causes all of your Biotic-oriented combos to have a chance to cause additional biotic explosions for every affected enemy, increasing the effectiveness of this mechanic and overall damage. Biotic Jump and Evades enhances dodges performed by your character, increasing their range.
This profile offers everything that a character centered on the Biotic tree needs. It increases damage dealt, the radius and the duration of all biotic powers, giving them increased force. Additional force increases, for instance, the distance the enemy will be thrown away after getting hit by Biotic powers. This profile significantly increases the effectiveness of a Biotic-oriented character - if you don't care about melee combat and using the Vanguard profile, this one is the best choice for you.
